This game is a fun variation on the Pokemon series

Fast travel is super nice, and it's so cool to encounter Alphas and Shinies right out in the open, and the battles take place right in the overworld too. Very cool and fun!

Best Pokémon Game in Years

I just got done with the diamond remake and this puts it to shame with all the new systems. It’s great for quick pick up and play sessions to try and complete Pokédex entries but also good for hour long sessions while doing the main story line.

Good spin on a franchise

It's cool to show off your Pokémon in this game compared to some games too. Shiny hunting is lame though. You can save before encounter and never lose it. I also don't like that they brought this method to the current mainline games of violet and scarlet.
