Legends Formula Excels Again!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a blast to play! Some downsides are the (1) biome variety implemented as wild zones, since we're in a large single city rather than exploring the land and (2) lack of voice acting despite the improved expression animation. The game itself plays great and I can't put it down! I really hope they take some notes on the quality of life changes to implement in future games.

Better than before
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was better than legends Arceus, more straight forward, better mechanics, easy to get a grasp of everything, only down side there are like 5 pokemon you need to trade to evolve, to complete the dex, there are other like gengar that you could find, and sadly there's not trade with strangers, so my dex is stock on with a few entries

Just a bit better than "okay"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokemon Legends Z-A leaves you with wanting to play more while simultaneously letting you down in the environment design, no voice acting and different battle mechanics. While I find myself picking it up every once in a while to play, and while it can be addictive, it lacks substance. I thought Game Freak would have made an immersive pokemon game by now. Overall I would rate Legends Z-A a 3.8 out of 5.

Love this game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got here the day of release and has actually been really fun to play, I'm a long time pokemon fan/ player and this game did better than I expected. I expected to get bored after a couple hours but the map of the world is actually pretty big and the game keeps you busy with all the side missions, I can't wait for the new DLC to see what else is in store for us

Great gameplay, not so incredible visuals.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Typical pokemon experience. I really enjoyed the story and the gameplay. Catching pokemon is fun and refreshing. Battling feels new and exhilarating. The visuals are lackluster with nothing too impressive, but I appreciate the texture quality (for the most part) and frame rate on the Switch 2. Overall, I really enjoyed playing this game and will continue playing for the Pokédex completion and shiny charm!

A good new Pokemon game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably the best Pokemon game I've played since the DS era. The new battle system was really engaging and the characters in the story were fun to interact with. The world could have had more to do in it and I miss exploration in Pokemon games. Plus for a premium $70 product, the graphics were still fairly subpar.

Love this new Pokemon game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokémon Legends: ZA has completely exceeded my expectations and quickly become one of my favorite Pokémon experiences in years. The world feels alive in a way that pulls you in from the very beginning. Lumiose City and its surrounding regions are beautifully reimagined with a mix of nostalgia and fresh creativity. I love how the game blends open-world exploration with story-driven missions, making every session feel like an adventure rather than a checklist. The pacing is smoother than previous Legends titles, battles feel more dynamic, and the new mechanics, especially the way wild Pokémon interact with the environment, add an extra layer of immersion. The storyline is surprisingly engaging too, with a darker, more mysterious tone that kept me curious about what was coming next. Whether I'm tracking down rare Pokémon, experimenting with new strategies, or just wandering and taking in the scenery, the game constantly rewards curiosity. Overall, I absolutely love Pokémon Legends: ZA and I’d highly recommend it to any Pokémon fan.

Great sequel to Pokémon X and Y
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Going into this game I had mixed opinions. I’m a diehard Pokémon fan. I’ve been playing since Red and Blue and thought the games peaked around the DS era. But I’ve gotta say, this game is up there as one of my favorites. However this game is not without faults. Gamefreak should have added voice acting to this game, it would have done wonders. The graphics are overall pretty good but could always be better coming from the largest franchise on earth! And finally, I wish it had difficulty settings. A hard difficulty would have made this a top 3 Pokemon game for me. Now for what I liked. The battling system with a breath of fresh air! Some people love it some people hate it, I love it! It feels like an actual battle like in the anime. You have to think on the fly and don’t have time to stratagize. Bringing back Mega Evolution is also something I personally enjoy and am happy to see it back, even if it’s not going to reappear again, but who knows. Overall I really enjoyed the main game and look forward to the DLC!

Good game but concerns for the future
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a love for Pokemon and have been playing for years. I love a lot of the new ideas with the game but I do wish they would have allowed items to evolve trade only Pokemon like in Legends Arceus. However I do believe the game is a bit overpriced and the fact you need to get DLC for all the Mega evolutions is concerning with where the developers are taking the game.

Great for the fan of Pokémon.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Breath of fresh air into the Pokémon franchise... Still gollows the ledgends franchise of the series but adds in some cool new (and old) mechanics that makes me excited for the future of this "spin off" series. Great game and a must for fans of the Pokémon series especially those who have played games tied to Lumiose city.

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game for my girlfriend and she loves it. I watched her play for hours and the new (new to me) mechanics are great. It’s not immediately clear which Pokémon from which versions are available, but that’s something we could Google if we really wanted to know. The only drawback is that it costs $70. Wowzers!
