GameFreak has done it again folks. Lets dive into it: CONS Windows… 2D design on a 3D platform. WHO HAS THE WHOLE MAP RENDER WHEN YOU CAN EVEN SEE IT ALL AT ONCE?!?! Character models are all boring. Most disappear into the void when they try to render. New ones pop up, then join the void. The map from one side to another takes roughly 1 minute and 23 seconds. HUGE map guys. Was stoked to have a pokemon game run on switch 2. This was fully designed for the switch 1. Just better looking stone tiles on the ground and slightly better load times on switch 2. The console isn’t the issue its only the game. Once you get past the ridiculously long tutorial, the game finally starts. Catch some Pokémon during the day, battle some people at night. Yup, that sums up the whole game. PROS The new battle mechanics are interesting. Still needs fine tuned but it’s something fresh to the franchise. Box art is neat. Got a cool play mat/mouse pad.

Very fun! Played through the whole game and just started the DLC!

This is a really strong entry in the Pokémon series. It looks and plays especially good on the Nintendo Switch 2. I knocked off two stars for the shipping. FedEx is the absolute worst. They delivered my game 4 days late and the pre-order bonus a week late. What is the point of a pre-order if it doesn't arrive on the release date? Best Buy should strongly consider a different shipping service because as is, I'm buying my games elsewhere if I want them on time.

Great Pokemon game. The new action combat is fun and engaging, and really breathes new life into the series for me.
