The musical score and the writing is above average for a Pokemon game, but it lacks some meat on the bones. I enjoy the new battle system, I'm sure plenty people don't though, so consider that when purchasing.

Its okay for pokemon, but thats it.

Low effort, small map, nothing new except some megas... however, it is still a fun game with a unique battling system you won't get with any other pokemon game, and the shiny charm is not bad to obtain. Recommend if the price comes down to try it.

Too many battles

I'm sure you're thinking, that's the point of Pokémon, but I felt they were excessive. You not only have battles within the main story but nearly every side quest is also a battle. I would still recommend for fans of the series to play this entry.
