Let's Go Evee is similar to the mobile game Pokemon Go. However, it is a more simplified version. In fact, to be blunt, it is a little too simplified. So while it is great for people stepping into the Pokemon arena for the first time it is sorely lacking in replay value for veterans of the series. This is a game that is more suitable for children or gamers that are looking for a relaxing and easy game to navigate through. It certainly isn't a dud of a game but it will more than likely not hold the attention of the more advanced gamers for long.

Execelent adaptation to the classic game. It’s incorporated use of the mechanics from Pokémon Go make for a fun take on a great game.

Really brings on the nostalgia as expected. So much like I would have imagined as a kid playing the original red/blue/yellow versions

This game is like you're in the safari zone. It's fun catching pokemon, but you dont get much time to actually bond with your team. I dont even remember my team besides eevee. The game has charm, but probably wont do another playthrough.

Great addition to the Pokemon franchise. Similar storyline to the Pokemon Yellow game but with some fantastic gameplay additions.

I beat this game in 3 days. I couldn't stop playing. I wasn't sure if I would use the pokeball controller, but I loved it.

The remake is a blast and the Poke Ball Plus controller makes it all the more fun to play as well as take with you and level up your Pokémon! (I carry it all the time at work and it makes leveling up far more productive even when I'm busy.)

If you are curious about playing a main series Pokémon game but only played Pokémon GO, this is a perfect entry to the series.

I bought this for my son. He's been playing pokemon games for 10 years and thinks that is great for beginners and veteran fans.

The map is identical layout to the original pokemon games. You get a choice however between being male or female instead of just Ash. You can name your "rival," and he's actually nice unlike Gary. The towns themselves are laid out a bit different, just the overworld map is the same. It changes things up by implementing aspects of both pokemon go and the regular pokemon games. You dont fight wild pokemon. You just catch them. But there are plenty of trainers to battle along the way to make up for it.

This game is good for young players because it has a lot of changes from previous games which make the game more accessible. However, Pokemon fans will find a lot to love about this game, and there are ways to increase the difficulty such as choosing not to use the pokemon you start with, and choosing to swap Pokemon more often to avoid letting any get too strong. The catching mechanic requires you to use motion controls to throw a Pokeball if you are playing on the TV, and if you are playing in handheld mode, you must aim by moving the console around, and you throw a ball by pressing a button. Keep in mind you can only control this game in either handheld mode with both joycons, or in TV mode with one joycon or the pokeball plus controller which is sold separately or bundled with some versions of the game.

I adore this game! Definitely met my expectations! I’ve played so much, and will continue to! Perfect for any age, as I’m 23.
