Nostalgia Galore
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been a fan of Pokémon since I was little, so playing this game is like returning to the days of gameboy color. It’s more detailed and closer to the original anime, too. Definitely recommend.

Must have Nintendo title
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While it is a rehash of the original Pokemon Kanto region, it offers some new mechanics to keep the game interesting. I have used this game to bring some of my favorites into Sword and Shield via Home.

Nostalgia and Fun in a Great Package
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into this game pretty skeptical after learning it had been dumbed down a bit compared to old Pokemon games and will be incorporating elements from Pokemon go. I decided to give it a chance anyway and I've enjoyed every minute of it. It is easier than previous games but you still do need to know about the different types of pokemon and what's weak or strong for the opponent you're battling. Being able to see the pokemon while walking around makes the game feel less grindy since you knew exactly when you were about to get into catching a wild pokemon. My one complaint is regarding the controls. I've mostly played the game in handheld mode, but playing it docked only works with a single joycon or the Pokeball Plus so if you were hoping to just play it with the pro controller. Hoping an update fixes this

Reliving your childhood !
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This reminds me of the early days with Pokemon Red and Blue on Gameboy Color. Very similar to the original with modern features that came from Pokemon Go involved. Being able to see your pokemon pull off attacks in a better graphical way then the gamebody gave you, and also the interaction with them on a personal bonded trainer level makes this game very amazing. its nice to be able to relive this on the big screen. Overall i have been addicted to playing it since i got it! You can even send pokemon over from GO to this game! Although careful what you send because it tends to be random and will nerf their strength! But overall very pleased, very fun game, and will be even better when i need to take my switch with me on the road to keep myself entertained at times!

What's old is new
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first, I wasn't going to get let's go due to the focus on it being even more kid friendly than most pokemon games. However, the nostalgia and slight differences were enough to make this a charming game for me. Having pokemon appear in the overworld is a godsend, though I could do without the new capture mechanics. Recommended if you have a lot of nostalgia for the originals.

SO much fun and reminds me of the gameboy games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game on switch is amazing. Its just like the old days playing pokemon gold except with extra features and amazing graphics and effects. Only con is i wish you could battle pokemon in order to catch them seems too easy to just throw the ball like pokemon go. Im excited to play sword and shield since they have addressed almost everything i feel this game was missing.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I be been waiting for this to come out since the release of Pokémon Yellow! Fantastic reimagining of classic Pokemon Yellow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to get this game at first due to the catching mechanism being similar to the Pokemon Go mobile app, but the game is fantastic. If you're a fan of the classic Pokemon games than you will not be let down by this purchase.

Truest Pokemon game in a long time!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been playing every generation of Pokemon since Yellow. This is absolutely the truest incarnation of Pokemon in recent years. Pokemon games have slowly turned into a dull grind. But this game breathes fresh air into the series.

Nostalgia always wins
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A blast from the past that still holds up. Didn’t think I’d get back into Pokémon as much as I did jumping into this. Spent 60+ hours catching and training and enjoyed all of it. Great modern day improvements to the formula as well.

Great Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very addictive and nostalgic games with a new view HD and the new mechanics. I am not a super fan of pokemon series but this game is very addictive and you just want to catch them all since you can see them walking on the grass now.

Fun Game
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun game but didn't realize you don't battle to catch pokemon. It's using the Pokemon Go functionality. I think that takes some of the fun out of it but you do get to battle when going against other trainers. It was still worth the pickup and enjoyed the nostalgia with a fresh coat of pain and features

Original pokemon adventure
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not the same as current pokemon games, but it brings back fond memories of the original. Just know that it's different in that you don't battle pokemon to catch them. Instead, it's more like pokemon go.

Lots of fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From parent to child, everybody in our family has enjoyed this game! We each play on our own account, so we can each move through the game at our own pace. We also like that there is purpose in what you do throughout the game.

Christmas Gift
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a Christmas gift for my son. I have seen it played on friend's system and know that my son will really like it. One of the best things about this game is that a second friend can play and help it out whenever they want.

Pokeman fans
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like Pokeman on 3DS family line this is another to get. But also buy the Poke balls to get Mew. But if you get each of these release you will need to get two PokeBalls to get a mew for each game.

Great Remake
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Entertaining remake of Pokémon Yellow. The world (cities, gyms, plot, etc) are all the same as you love and remember, but a few things have thankfully been updated. The best change is that you can see the wild Pokémon before you battle them, allowing you to bypass some and turn around for rare spawns. The method to train and catch new Pokémon is different. There are no wild battles; it is closer to Pokémon Go where it is based on the catching throw itself with points given to all Pokémon on your team at a time. Leveling up is incredibly easy in this remake and the pain of needing to start training from scratch for Pokémon caught later in the game is finally remedied. Overall very fun game both solo and with a second player
