This might be the best Pokémon game for the switch console Nintendo got it right and it’s great timepass for any Pokémon fans It’s value for money if you get this on sale

This game on switch is amazing. Its just like the old days playing pokemon gold except with extra features and amazing graphics and effects. Only con is i wish you could battle pokemon in order to catch them seems too easy to just throw the ball like pokemon go. Im excited to play sword and shield since they have addressed almost everything i feel this game was missing.

While it is a rehash of the original Pokemon Kanto region, it offers some new mechanics to keep the game interesting. I have used this game to bring some of my favorites into Sword and Shield via Home.

I was hesitant to get this game at first due to the catching mechanism being similar to the Pokemon Go mobile app, but the game is fantastic. If you're a fan of the classic Pokemon games than you will not be let down by this purchase.

This game will bring you back to when you first played Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow (Mostly Yellow). I have played many hours of this and I can say that it is worth every penny for any Pokemon Fan! It connects with Pokemon GO as well.

My Granddaughter loves anything Pokemon. We picked up the Pikachu switch game for her birthday. She loves the game & so do her siblings

I have been playing every generation of Pokemon since Yellow. This is absolutely the truest incarnation of Pokemon in recent years. Pokemon games have slowly turned into a dull grind. But this game breathes fresh air into the series.

A blast from the past that still holds up. Didn’t think I’d get back into Pokémon as much as I did jumping into this. Spent 60+ hours catching and training and enjoyed all of it. Great modern day improvements to the formula as well.

I love this game so much. I enjoy playing it after a long day. I really like that the grind of having to fight to gain levels has been replaced with catching pokemon among the many other additions like not wasting move slots on HMs.

Not sure if you can still get it with the pokeball plus, but the game controls better without the motion controls. I love all the Pokémon games and this was no exception, but if you’re not a fan I’m not sure this will bring you in.

Reviews like to emphasize that the game is easy compared to the original games it's based on, but it's a friendlier experience for young and casual fans. If you've never played a Pokemon game. This is a great place to start!

Very addictive and nostalgic games with a new view HD and the new mechanics. I am not a super fan of pokemon series but this game is very addictive and you just want to catch them all since you can see them walking on the grass now.

Haven’t played a Pokémon game in years but this one captured the fun of the original and made some greaT QoL adjustments.

I am really enjoying this game. Its just as good as the original pokemon blue/red/yellow. I love that you can trade pokemon from pokemon go to the game after you get so far.

Super happy I purchase this. Its similar to the old version, but new enough you feel great about spending 50-60 bucks on it. ha. Recommend to any Pokemon fans, Even my 5 year old daughter can play this!

An alright game, and doing stuff with Pikachu is cute. Graphics are nice as well. The Pokemon Go-esque controls in battle weren't necessary, and they're awkward with both a joy con and the pokeball controller. Despite my complaints I did enjoy the game, though I don't feel like it got the same level of love as other gen 1 games.

I have been a gamer for years but never found interest in Pokémon. This game is actually very fun and relaxing. Recommend to people who never played Pokémon before.

I was skeptical at first with the new catch system, but I found it really fun and interactive. Felt more satisfied throwing poke balls to catch. Love the game great remake with new Mechanics, can’t wait for their next Pokémon game
