I think I played 15 hours over the New Year holiday. It's addicting. It brings the best graphics, the fun of the original story, along with great new upgrades that make catching pokemon and battling way more fun.

He was absolutely ecstatic upon opening this gift, loaded it up and played for a few hours brought up nostalgia for me and he adored it really reminds me of the old school pokemon games but with alot of upgrades!

Before I brought the game I heard awesome reviews about it which made me wanted to get it. After opening it and downloading it for my son - I love the graphics and the storyline.

This game brings a truly nostalgic feeling. Having played all the previous games I can appreciate all the new features like being able to walk along any side any of your Pokemon. I highly recommend this game!!

I have always been a fan of Pokémon games and this game is no exception. I was initially on edge due to some of the changes but actually after playing the game think it’s a huge step forward! Highly recommend.

My wife was looking for a game to introduce her to more traditional Pokemon games. I got this for her as a gift and she loves it. Great for anyone wanting to get ready for Sword and Shield later this year!

This was picked more for my boyfriend to play and he’s more experienced with Pokémon than I am but I definitely enjoyed watching him play it and get to explore different areas of the world in the game.

Exactly as I remember Pokemon Red being back on the Gameboy, but much improved in terms of visuals and overall experience. Very easy to play, not very challenging, which is good for a relaxing game experience

A cute introductory Pokemon game. It has some controls from the mobile game Pokemon Go, and the instructions are simple to follow.

Simple game play, but you don’t actually have to battle to catch Pokémon. I’d say it’s more geared towards children but my 5 yr old asks for help constantly. If your child doesn’t know how to read it’s a bit more difficult for them as it carries traditional Pokémon game play minus the battling wild Pokémon.

The game is amazing. The beginning feels a little like a remaster Pokemon yellow. However the game play defeneitly makes up for it and the after game play makes it much more enjoyable after beating the game

Daughter loves hunting pokemon on her switch and this game is simple enough for her to do on her own. If your kid can’t read, don’t bother with this game as there is a good amount of it!

Fun and addicting! It’s hard to put my switch down. This is my first switch Pokémon game. I used to play on emulators and I’m glad I finally purchased.

A fun Pokemon game that brings back nostalgia from the first Pokemon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. Lots of new features and updates that make playing feel a lot less of a chore and just more enjoyable.

My six your old loves it and can’t get enough playing time to play it. If it wasn’t for his bedtime he’d play all night. I have to say I love playing along with him too. This game was made for all ages.

Bought this game because as a kid I always wanted my own Pikachu. I hadn’t played a Pokémon game since Pokémon Yellow, this was that and more. The pokeball definitely made the experience more enjoyable.
