Let’s Go: Pikachu is very entertaining but I kind of dont like the way you capture pokemon. They’ve implemented the Pokemon Go mechanics into catching pokemon but taken away being able to battle wild pokemon. While there are pokemon battles with a lot of trainers, it feels as if they didn’t consider some of the more layered experience of actually building up a pokemon through ev training and breeding. Other than that though, you can find yourself spending hours playing the game

I played the older game boy versions of pokemon games. This is a juiced up spin off of the older games. Super familiar to me. I originally bought this as a birthday gift for my son. Now i also enjoy playing, great for bonding time, we also sometimes bicker over who gets to play first lol.

It gets 4 stars because it's cute. Otherwise, my 7 year old got very bored of it very fast.

My kids are really into pokemon. They seem to really like this game. The only disappointing feature sbout it is that you can’t play more than 2 players. The two player version is ok. It is really only a one player game in my opinion. Have not used any of the online features yet.

The Pokemon lets go Pikachu is a great game to play even though it is a remake. The graphics are amazing and gameplay is still the same if you remember when it first came out! If you are on the fence about should I buy this game or not I would definitely tell you to buy it you will not regret it!

I enjoy playing a classic Pokémon world, and though it has Pokémon-Go elements to it, I was eventually able to get past this and understand it better. My kid has the Evvee version, so we are able to play on switch lite this way together.

When I played gen 1 back in the 90s, this is exactly what I saw as i stared into the tiny gray screen of the gb pocket (my first console ever). It was great to relive gen 1 20 years later! The only thing I'm on the fence about is the catching system, which is the sam as pokemon go.

I played original yellow when it was released. This is a great game. Battles feel good graphics are awesome.

Good game kids under 6 can play it but slightly difficult for them.

This game is definitely not for serious gamers. It is easy but a lot of fun for those of you who loved playing Pokémon red/blue on a game boy color back in the day. They also incorporated the catching features of Pokémon go which is a lot of fun too. Get this game if you want cute, easy fun.

This game makes a great gift. I already had Lets Go Eevee and needed someone to play with.

My son love it .Sense The first day we gave it to him he said it was the best game ever and he can stop playing.

Game is fun but kind of mindless but overall something fun to play if you’re looking for something fun to do

This game is just like the classics, but finally refreshed with some this gen graphics. Some newer mechanics sure, but don’t forget this is made for the kids and kids at heart. This is as classic as Japanese RPG games can get. It’s a must have for the kids and for anyone a fan of the series.

Good game. End game is kinda lacking, but it where the appetite until the new Pokémon game comes out this fall.

My 10 year old son is obsessed with pokemon and he loves this game. He loves how easy it is to capture pokemon.

Bought this for my son’s birthday. He really seems to like it. Seems like a great Pokémon game for his skill level. He’s 8 yo and a pretty avid gamer. This game also has a coop mode that he likes to play when he has friends over. Highly recommend this game.

Bought this as a present and they loved it! They are new to Pokemon and this was the perfect game to go along with their new Nintendo Switch. It is a great game for any age and definitely recommend for hours of fun!

This game is definitely tons of fun and cute! Something you can play to temporarily escape the fact that you’re currently stuck at home and also fun for your kids to play as well!! Add the little Pokemon ball controller and it’s that much more fun for everyone!

I bought this game because it’s Pokémon and it was on sale. There are a few hitches with this game, however. Motion controls! You have to play the game in handheld mode or with separate joy cons. You have to aim your switch at the Pokémon to catch it, or mimic tossing a Pokeball with your joy cons. I was so disappointed when I sat on my couch with my pro controller and it didn’t work. No random encounters anymore. If you run into a Pokémon in the woods, it’s entirely up to you because now you see them in the grass. That’s cool I guess but you can’t do battle with wild Pokémon anymore, I believe. You can only catch them. I suppose that makes the game look better so kids aren’t wandering into the woods with their trained Pokémon beating up Pokémon without a home, but it’s a kid’s game based on cockfighting in the first place. It’s incredibly watered down from the Game Boy original with elements of Pokémon Go, and I walked away from that game a week after it came out, so I’m pretty bummed at how this turned out. I’d give it 2 1/2 stars if I could because it’s still a well built Nintendo game, I just don’t like how it plays. So benefit of the doubt- 3/5 stars.
