If you love Pokemon go, this game must be in your library. The game works much the same as Pokemon Go, except they've added the story line, and some great cinematic scenes.

Really wish the Pokemon developers left the wild pokemon battle features on, but I like the updated graphics and the feeling of being more immersed in the world of Pokemon.

Although some Pokémon and mechanics from later generations have been removed to keep the feel of Gen 1, the game is still really fun and feels very easy to get used to.

The game appears to be a remake of the original Kanto region Pokemon game, with Pokemon Go elements mixed into it. Integrates with Pokemon Go after you get to the sixth city.

It was almost exactly like the original games for gameboy with a few extras thrown in. It was a lot of fun to play and the updated gameplay was enjoyable.

Excellent solution to scratch that OG Pokémon itch on current consoles. Hame only has the original 150 Pokémon from the 90s. Great game

A great, fun version of an old classic! I love the focus on Pikachu and how you have the option to dress him! It is so cute and adds to the Pokémon experience.

So this is not the classic pokemon game everyone wants. The real one is coming, however this is a great easy point to jump into If you never tried a pokemon game. This will definitely set you up for the truer rpg version. Still addicting catching pokemon no matter how easy. The kids will love it.

I love all the mice you can catch with your turtle. Talk about a fun time. Can’t believe PETA hasn’t tried to shut down this fun factory

I had my doubts on buying the game as there is no battle in catching pokemon but it just a blast playing this game. Must have for traditional pokemon game or pokemon go fans.

I have loved pokemon since I was a kid. I was so happy when they announced this game and the main reason I got the switch. If you are a pokemon fan this is a must for you.

being a huge pokemon fan all my life i purchases this for my kid but the kid in me too it back i cant get enough of this old school pokemon yellow nostalgia new and improved

Maybe this Pokemon isn't as good as others, but it's still a fun Pokemon game for anyone who enjoys the series or newcomers.

Bit too simplistic compared to past titles. Still, graphics are nice despite the cartoonish designs. Later bought the poke ball accessory and gameplay was much better with that controller. I recommend it, but when it goes on sale for $30 or less.

It is good and easy game. Leveling mechanics are weird if you are use to previous iterations of Pokemon games and it makes it a pain to level up because of it. I got behind at different spots a couple times because I would avoid trainers but thats the best way to level in game vs catching. I played via handheld more compared to playing on the tv. It was a pain for catching Pokemon because I would have to move around more to follow the Pokemon. It is good for getting a kid involved in video games without it being too difficult. There is a lot of hand holding in the game as well. But, overall its a good, easy game and not a long game if you are wanting to play a short game in between games.

If you loved Pokemon yellow you would love this game! A few things are a tad different but is mostly faithful to the original. Very nostalgic and fun to play

As someone who has played every generation of Pokemon games, I was worried that I wouldn’t like the simplified nature of the Let’s Go games. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the new mechanics work. It’s a fun throwback for longtime fans and a great starting point for newcomers.

A great remake of Pokémon Yellow, redesigned to appeal to the Pokémon Go audience. More than that, it has excellent presentation, and updated storytelling via cutscenes.

So let's be real, pokemon hasn't changed much in the last 20 years. Aesthetically the game is very pleasing and simple to play. THe accessory pokeball is really handy and adds out of game benefits. You can import pokemon go pokemon into it as well. Other than that, it's pretty much pokemon. :)
