My girlfriend and I have had a ton of fun playing through it! It's a bit stripped down but a good time nonetheless.

Was well received, but only gripe my friend had was that leveling up your pokemon was not as fun - you level them up by catching tons of pokemon. But catching pokemon just has your throw pokeballs (a la Pokemon Go).

It's a new take on a classic game. It's like playing Pokemon yellow version but with updated graphics and features.

I'm about halfway through the game at the time of working this review and I'm having a lot of fun every time I play. I've been playing the games since the start and this one does a great job of bringing out nostalgia while not feeling stale like a direct copy of the original. The new wild Pokemon catching style is a lot of fun with a joy con. Being able to see and avoid Pokemon in the wild keeps the pacing quick to get you to the trainer battles faster when you want to.

EEVEE is great but you can never go wrong with picking pikachu. Game looks and plays great.

This is a good introduction to the Pokemon world or fans of Pokemon Go, the mobile game. It does get tedious, though, with battle after battle or pokemon constantly running into you as you try to navigate the map.

This is a great game for newcomers to Pokemon and old players. Good intro to what Pokémon on switch will be like.

This is a fantastic remake of Pokemon Yellow. The new catching mechanic has addicting, and the game looks gorgeous
