This is a good pick up if you are looking for the nostalgia of the old Pokemon games. I love the new features added too like dressing up your Pikachu/Eevee. Good for beginners and long time fans. Makes a great gift as well.

Loving this game, I have completed it and the game plays beautifully. I can highly recommend this. I am not a pro gamer and the difficulty was not too hard, so it should be fine for kids too.

This game was different than I thought it be. I heard it was going to be similar to Pokemon Go which was true however after playing it. It's a nice refreshing change compared to the classic pokemon gameplay. It feels nice to have a pokemon follow you around.

Even though this is the 3rd remaster of the Red and blue games, this is actually the yellow version remake. Don’t let the kid-like visuals fool you as for any Pokémon game. If you enjoyed RBY, you’ll welcome this addition. I personally like this art direction better than the new Sword and Shield (but I love them nonetheless). There’s a new way to catch Pokémon, by just throwing pokéballs! If you’ve played the Go game from the app store for your phone, you know what to do. I’ve never accustomed to playing the game in docked mode as my throwing skills are just not good. I prefer playing it in handheld mode. Much easier catching Pokémon. Anyways, I think this is a great title very welcoming to new players, and nostalgic and a wonderful replay of RBY versions.

I was hesitant about getting this Pokemon game, given that it is only a "temporary" game prior to the full release of the next iteration. However, the game really surprised me. It is fun, with nice graphics. However, there are no battles with wild pokemon before catching them and you're unable to play with a full controller, you either play with the joycons attached or with a single joycon dettached.

If you grew up playing Pokemon games on your Gameboy you will love this game. It a huge update to the old Pokemon games. Not only that but if you play Pokemon Go you can even transfer your Pokemon from Pokemon Go to Pokemon Let's Go. Need to try it out.

It’s a great game for new players and old alike the game doesn’t really follow the original yellow but adds little Easter eggs for older players. The Co-op isn’t really co-op though the 2nd player mostly ghost with until you encounter NPC for 2v1 battles.

I’m a 26 year old man but I couldn’t help but “aww” as I played this game. It’s a little like Pokémon Go when it comes to wild Pokémon but the battles are all still there, so it’s the best of both worlds! Your nostalgia will be way more than satisfied

This game is awesome. I thought I would hate it because it seems like a watered down version of the main games. But this game is actually really fun and relaxing to play. I recommend it for the casual gamers who just want something to pick up and play.

Long time Pokemon player and I did not mind the toned down easy to play feel of this game. It is a great game to start with if you've never played a pokemon game as it will ease you into the more traditional pokemon game coming out on switch next year.

Great game, easy to play and a great graphic remake of the old ones. Don't get the pokeball bundle, pokeball only has two buttons A and B and you'll need the Y to go into advance menu if u want to change your Pokemon line up so the ball is useless....

I know a lot of people have an issue with these games as not being real pokemon games, here's the truth: The only thing this game doesn't have is level grinding. Other than that its like pokemon yellow. instead of battling wild pokemon to level grind, you just need to catch pokemon. So yes this game definitely is easier. But as you catch wild pokemon, your pokemon get exp points. and it doesn't matter which pokemon you catch. If you catch a Pidgey, your pikachu gets exp points. I also like that you can have 2 players playing and battling making it easier too. I think it's a great game for someone to experience the old pokemon games in a new updated way. The graphics also look beautiful!! Lot of reviews i saw said not to buy it, but i'm glad i did!

This has become my favorite Pokémon game since the original Red, Blue, and Yellow. It’s essentially a remake of the Gen I GameBoy games and for someone who grew up playing those, Let’s Go Pikachu is perfect!

Honestly, if you grew up playing the old Generation 1 Pokemon games (Red/Blue/Yellow) then you really don't need this one. The Pokemon catching mechanics have been retooled, but other than that it's an almost completely faithful remake. With that said, it's a fun updated version of those games and it's great for people who are first getting into the series. My kids love it.

It reminded me of my childhood. Can say anything negative about the game. I will say if you purchase it in person and your dead set on getting the other case. You better be sure to ask for it because I didn’t get my free item with purchase.

I loved Pokemon Blue Version as a kid. Playing this was like comfort food. I couldn't get the smile off my face. I didn't know if I would like the change from random encounters but after seeing it in action I really think it is a big improvement.

Just by having the opportunity to watch my pokemon walking next to me, this is worth it. It is true that there have been many changes on the difficulty but if we consider this a middle point between the accessibility that pokemon go gave and the adventure that the original games gave, I feel very satisfied with thenew experience. I will be updating as I keep playing.
