    If your children are interested in Pokemon this is a good intro into the games with characters they know from the show. Motion controls feel forced in docking mode and can frustrate younger players

    This game is a loose remake of Pokemon Yellow. They changed a few things, such as being able to switch Pokemon in and out of your party instantly instead of having to go to the Pokemon Center each time you want to do so. Visually it looks nice, and the controls are smooth enough. The one drawback is that random battles have been replaced by simply throwing Pokeballs and catching the Pokemon instantly. Good for beginners, nostalgic for veterans.
