Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the fun, easy gameplay and the nostalgic elements of Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!. Many found the game simple to pick up and enjoy, with positive comments on the story and overall entertainment value. However, some players found the game too easy and the motion controls somewhat challenging. Concerns were also raised regarding the leveling-up system and the catching mechanics.

A great retelling of the first Pokémon experience. I thoroughly enjoyed many of the changes implemented in this game as it eased me (a lapsed Pokémon player of many years) back into the old mechanics slowly while introducing some new ones that updated the gameplay.

I used to play the original pokemon on gameboy and this was a good throwback to those games.

My son is 5 years old he has a lot of fun catching the pokemon and although they do not believe it he knows more than 100 of the super difficult names of each pokemon, I could say that this game has greatly stimulated his memory and retention.

It’s a fun game…perhaps more so though for kids. What I didn’t like was having to use just one Joy Con. It really made the game cumbersome to play. Unfortunately it’s one of those games I will probably not play a lot due to this issue.

I bought this as a gifts for my nephews. They absolutely love the game. I think the feature that you can connect your pokemon go account to the game is amazing! Highly recommend buying this game to anyone who loves pokemon.

It's a combination of Pokemon go and the older Pokemon games. I would recommend it regardless.

I was a bit iffy about getting this game with the Pokémon go catching mechanic. I didn’t enjoy Pokemon Go but I can say it’s been a blast playing Let’s Go! Feels like I’m playing yellow all over again and having the Pokémon follow me reminds of how heartgold but better.

Pokémon Let’s Go updates the first Pokémon adventure with a new coat of paint and quality of life features that make for a breezy, enjoyable experience. Endgame content ratchets up the difficulty, making this a great gateway for both a new and returning Pokémon fans.

This game is super fun and overall a great game for the family. I know nothing about video games but I love playing this game with my nieces. Everyone always has a good time with the little family competitions and it’s great because so may people can play at once.

My kids are 7 & 10, they love this game! Easy to play. My only suggestion is to not waste money like I did on the Poké Ball controllers that a different gaming store talked me into. The game is easy to play without them.

It’s a great side story for Pokémon. As easy as it is to compare it to the first game this game has a lot to offer. The charm factor is through the roof, there’s mega evolution, amazing looking cutscenes, Pokémon scaled to proper size, and even a way to transfer your Pokémon from Pokémon go to your switch. It’s not perfect, but anyone who likes Pokémon will love this game.

The big complaint with this game is that it isn't a traditional pokemon game although it's based on pokemon yellow. Its basically a full pokemon game but with pokemon go mechanics to cash in on the craze. The game is still fun but if you're looking for a traditional pokemon game then this isn't for you. If you're wanting to revisit Kanto and find this for a good deal then pick it up.
