My boyfriend and I have not put it down. May seem like it's for kids, but the game still manages to keep us excited. Even if it's pretty much a reboot of the first games.

If you missed red or blue this is a great updated version with some new twists that you can play on the big screen. Lots of fun and the pokeball accessory is fun as well.

Really really really fun game! Havn't been able to put it down since I picked up my copy. A great way to get younger/newer pokemon fan's into the pokemon game franchise.

I gotta say, didn't really have high expectations for this "remake", but surprisingly I ended up having a lot more fun playing through this game than I thought I would.

Its great to have Pokemon on switch, I would have preferred it had nothing to do with Pokemon go, but its fine I guess. Also not being able to battle Pokemon and catch them is a pretty big turn off but the game plays and feels great and has some of the best music arrangements of the original Pokemon score.

I had my reservations about purchasing the game as it’s not a main entry title, but rather a spin-off/re-telling of Pokemon Yellow. However, upon playing it for myself, the nostalgia came rushing back and I’ve enjoyed playing it at home, docked, and on the go! The Pokeball Plus is an awesome addition to the game, helping with immersion, and to pair with Pokemon GO. If you’re planning on getting a Pokémon game and don’t want to wait for the main entry game in 2019, this game will scratch the itch you have about traveling across the land to catch them all while single-handed out taking down the mafia.

A combination of the first gen pokemon game and the phone app Pokemon go. A fun title that plays more quickly than the original... a very fun game for any pokemon fan.

I’m 32 and loved the Pokémon games growing up on my game boy when I heard this was coming out I knew I had to have it brings back tons of memories playing it love it !

It's different than the main series, but the game's fun. Like playing Pokemon Yellow, but everything is Safari Zone. Pokeball Plus is great, but has limited controls.

This is reminiscent of Red, Blue, and Yellow but with so much more! It brings back nostalgia and at the same time brings a much better experience than the originals.

Awesome game, easy to learn for kiddos. Just watch out for the pokeball. There's only one mew, so if you have multiple saves on different names, only one can get him

i thought this would be too different from the other games, so i avoided it for a bit. but its really good, if you like pokemon you should definitely pick this up

This is a great recreation of the original Pokemon with a Twist! It is great to re-live this and share it with my kids. The Pokemon Plus was an added bonus!

Everyone thought it would be a bad game, but it is certainly one of my favorites, if the way to catch pokemon is a bit annoying, but in general it is a great game.

Well done rework of the OG games, loving every aspect of it so far possibly even more then originals. Poke Ball Plus is handy as you can play easily with one hand.

I was scepticle at first when learning about the game as they changed the format, but dam is it a lot of fun. Bright, colorful, nostalgic, and major improvements.

We absolutely love this game the pokeball is a bit hard to get used to but what it lacks in functionality it makes up for in nostalgia. Thanks again Nintendo!

A really cool little poke ball. Super helpful when catching out in the real world or on the game. Makes a lot of cool noises. Game is beautiful. A nice evolution

I think the mechanic of catching the Pokemon is this game is fun. You don't have to weaken the Pokemon to catch them, the whole game is a lot more relaxed. Enjoy!

Kanto looks so great! This is a great start for anyone that has never picked up a Pokemon game. And long time trainers will love the nostalgic trip back to Kanto
