one of the best pokemon games to date. just love being able to play on the go

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire are modernized to include all of the amenities in the sixth generation games and brings back all of your favorite Pokemon and abilities from the third generation.

When Ruby and Sapphire first came out years ago, I never got the chance to play them. I knew I needed to pick up Omega Ruby when I had the chance. The game is wonderful. The starters from this generation always looked great, and they really are. The world is large and full of things to do. If you like Pokemon, or if you never played it before, definitely give this one a shot.

For the uninitiated, this is actually the most recently-released (as of July 2016) Pokemon game but it is a remastering of Pokemon Ruby from the Gameboy Advance. In my opinion it's actually slightly better than the other 3DS Pokemon games (X/Y) because it has more features to make collecting and capturing more fun. For example, there's a radar-like feature on the bottom screen that lets you know whether a nearby pokemon has and rare or unusual features so you can decide whether to take the time to battle it. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because it's essentially the same formula that every other Pokemon game follows. Still a lot of fun though!
