The original R/S/E were my favorite version, so naturally I would love this.

What can I say, it's Pokemon! It lives up to the Pokemon name as a good game.

If you loved the hoenn region/3rd gen then this remake is a must have.

Flashback to my teenage son's days of playing on his old game boy.

Great remake of Ruby on 3DS, it's an awesome little rpg.

I never played Ruby or Sapphire when they were released, so I was looking forward to this since they took the engine from X and Y. The story seems pretty different from other Pokemon games because the "bad" guys aren't really bad. They just have different views than you do. The game did not disappoint. It's more Pokemon and that's a good thing.

my sons get one of each of the two games available and play against each other to keep them occupied they really enjoy the game

Pokémon Emerald was my first main Pokémon game, and going back to the Hoenn region in a full 3D remake is one of the best feelings! With the addition of Mega-evolution, it doesn't feel too much different than the original, but I'm happy to play through the story again!

Honestly the build and quality is top notch. Entertainment at its finest!

Pretty cool with the advanced internet options. Not only are they able to play the game locally but able to trade Pokémon and battle others on the internet. Overall pretty cool game.

Just kidding, it doesn't matter if you pick ruby or sapphire. Both games are just about perfect - and with the new wonder trades you can get all of the pokemon with either version.

If you played the original Ruby or Sapphire, you should definitely pick this up. It's an incredibly fun game that takes everything great about the originals, and updates it.

Loved the changes that were made from the original. Haven't caught all the legendaries yet, but am looking forward to completing the challenge.

I actually skipped these original games when they were released about a decade ago on the Gameboy Adance. I'm glad they were remade and upgraded to the extent that they have been on the 3DS. It's a very typical Pokemon game (you played one, you pretty much played them all in terms of battles). It's still a lot of fun though

Another Pokemon game where they release 2 versions at the same time, this and Alpha Sapphire on 3DS. This Omega Ruby is a remake of the original Pokemon Ruby.

This game is a remaster of the original Pokemon Ruby. It does it's job well, faithfully retelling the story of the original, but adding enough elements and an expanded story line that it makes it more than worth repurchasing if you miss the old titles or buying as a first-time Pokemon game.

If you place this game side by side with the original ruby, you will see such a great improvement!

Decided to pick this up instead of Pokemon X/Y as I've heard it's the newest release. The DexNav is a great feature in this game, makes catching the pokemon you want much easier. Story is pretty typical for pokemon games. Overall i'm having a great time playing it!
