Love all the Pokemon games and this one is no exception...

My son loves this game. He was waiting for it for a while.

Four of my six children are gamers, and three of them enjoy the Pokémon games. As a parent, I am a bit disappointed that so many of the Pokémon games are interconnected. You don't necessarily need to have the other games to play any one of them, but the larger the number of previous games you can connect together, the better your child's overall experience will be.

Overall good remake of an older game. My kids really like playing it.

Our 7 year old has recently become obsessed with Pokemon, and being a 3DS lover, we got this for him. Nothing quite like watching your son play a game that you knew of and/or played as a child!

You gotta catch em all gotta catch em all! Yes, brings me back to my childhood. Such a great game even for an adult like me. I can absolutely recommend it. Buy this, and the previous ones too!

This is one of my favorite pokemon games in the series. There are a lot of nice improvements over the older version and I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys trying to catch them all

It was very easy not hard whatsoever. Pokemon Y was harder than this

Fan or no fan. Definitely a try. If you are into collecting with an adventure this is a pickup! I know there's a lot of Pokemon games out there but if you are a die hard fan, you must play it.

Got this for my 12 yr old and 19'yr old. The 17 yr old saw it and wanted one too. They love it, love mega evolve. My 5 year old nephew loves it too. They should sell these in multi packs.

I'm not sure what I was expecting going into this game. I don't think I would have gotten it if they hadn't put so much more stuff into it than X&Y. The nostalgia factor is pretty high, and seeing all the changes in detail and graphics is pretty rewarding. As for new players, there is the dreaded "too much water." Normally, I don't think that's a problem for most people. But for IGN and myself, someone who has an irrational fear of oceans and seas and lakes and most deep bodies of water, it's pretty frustrating when I feel the need to race as fast as possible out of the water routes. Thankfully, there's enough stuff to keep it exciting, like secret bases and an interesting storyline that's been updated for the new graphics. As well as extra missions chock full of legendaries.
