this has provided hours of fun for my kid. I like that you can play interactively with others.

The slow walking feature is just amazing when trying to catch pokemon or to avoid pokemon.

although he doesnt have the patience to work his way though the game on his own, complains when he gets stuck, until i go online and find a walkthrough and read it to him. then he says awesome! and he finds more pokemon and he's happy for about ten more minutes until he skips all the dialogue again and misses out on what he is supposed to be doing and then starts to complain again until i go online and find a walkthrough and read it to him. four star vicious cycle.

Pokemon has a long history of making excellent games that have a long story line and plenty of replay-ability, and this game doesn't disappoint. Overall, it is an excellent remastering of one of their older games, and it definitely left me pleased with my purchase.

I love the new mechanics and homages to the original while keeping things new. Mega evolutions are not bad and i love how i can get almost every best legendary pokemon in this game. Best Pokemon generation and i hope there's delta emerald. If not, them I'm just fine with this...

Bought it for my nephew as a birthday present and he enjoys it. The story was super short.

This is a terrific game - it is a long game if you want it to be. Very enjoyable to play.

For those that want a bit more of a challenge and use their brains, this game is ideal

My 7 and 9 year olds love this game. They are able to battle each other which is awesome!

My son wanted the new games, and I couldn't resist getting them for him, for he loves them all so much. I intended it to be a Christmas gift, but couldn't wait to give it to him. He plays it all the time, and really enjoys it. Its a great addition for any Pokémon fan!!!!

It has been at least 10 years since I played a pokemon game. With the new nintendo 3ds xl I had to get a pokemon game with it. The use of 3d is well done. As we know pokemon is derivative so you know what you are getting. Same formula, different veneer but it is still fun! Some of the tools to catch and track pokemon are janky and the menus could be better but hey, that's the way they have always been. Fun is the key and that is what it is!

We bought this as an Easter gift for my son after he loved the Ruby pack so much. He loves this one as well. If your kids love Pokemon (but you don't want to drop the amount required for the brand new Sun/Moon packs) then they'll love this game.

Purchase this as a gift for my teenager and I became the best mom ever!!!! He loves it
