The technical issues are overrated. Unless you're obsessed with graphical details, this game is great and one of the best pokemon games.

Open world Pokémon leaving you the ability play the game how you want with little nudges, pair this with violet and you can do anything.

I have never played a Pokemon game, and whilst I enjoyed Scarlet I can't say that it made the series a permanent part of my gaming rotation. Turn-based combat is still fairly archaic, and the game doesn't do much to innovate on it. Gameplay is the most important element of a video game, and whilst this was fun enough it didn't hold my attention for very long.

As soon as we get some QOL updates this game will be create. Would like to see all 1K+ Pokemon available even if only transferable.

When I say the best Pokémon game to ever come out non stop action plenty to search for can you defeat them

I purchased Scarlet on release and have played through the entire story and postgame content. I won’t spoil anything in this review, though. I’ll just say the story pleasantly surprised me compared to Gen 8. My first impression was that the character models look great this time around - a marked improvement from Sword and Shield. The player character and individual Pokémon look fantastic. There are also major improvements to competitive play, making battles and raiding much more accessible. You can purchase all the required bottle caps and mints for in-game currency, and you can hyper train your Pokémon starting at level 50 instead of having to wait for 100. However, as many have mentioned, the animations often lag in this game. In my several weeks of playing, I’ve only had minor visual glitches, but they are frustrating nonetheless. The worst lag is in the “Tera Raid” battles, where online play slows down considerably more than I recall last Gen. Overall, I’m giving Scarlet 4 stars because the story is a huge improvement from the typical Pokémon plot line, and, despite minor performance issues, I’ve had a blast playing through the story and doing some postgame raids with my friends.

Fun game. Got to spend a ton of time playing with family and friends. Story is pretty fun and cute.
