The storyline and concept is promisiong. However, the game is not optimized to run for the Switch and there are plenty of bugs. It feels like they didn't test it.

Wish there was more life in an open world pokemon game

My nephews love it. Very happy with the purchase. They dont fully understand what “bugs” and issues like this that happen with video games. But never the less they love playing this game! Good job nintendo.

This game took a step in the right direction with multiple paths and plot lines to pursue. The only negatives that I found were the glitches that would constantly occur, making the game feel buggy.

It is rough to get through the very beginning of the game but once you unlock the ride pokemon it becomes so much more fun. Just be sure to fully close the game often to avoid glitches acting up.

Bought both versions for my sons and they can’t put it down. They’ve been playing together nicely for a week now which is a very rare site. It’s cool how they can play together in the same world.

Personally not too big a fan of this Pokemon game. I’m more into the traditional style game. But others will enjoy it for sure.

It’s a lot of fun. Even with all the issues, I don’t think it’s all gamefreaks fault. I do believe that the limitations on the switch make it hard for this game to live up to its full potential.

First off game is geeat with an amazing story but….there is a lot of glitches with. If you dont care about bugs then get it if you do then don’t.

Granddaughter is anxious to get this Pokemon Scarlet for Christmas. She loves any Pokemon game and trading cards. Guess she will be getting what she wants this year. Granny to the rescue!

This game would have been a Perfect pokeMon game but it’s the technical glitches and performance it’s what keeping it from the perfect Pokémon game but I enjoyed my time with the game

Honestly it’s passable. Really cool concepts and world to explore, but the graphics and framerate are absolutely terrible. The switch has proven to do better (tears of the kingdom)

I read the reviews on this game before i bought it and they weren't promising! I decided to buy it anyway and I'm pleasently surprised at how much i like it!! Totally recommend!!

While the graphical issues are certainly a blow against this newest Pokemon entry, the story and characters shine. This is the first game in awhile where I actually LIKE the characters and getting to know them. It definitey needs more polish, and I think could have been pushed back for that polishing without TPC suffering any sort of loss. Nintendo, Pokemon Company, Gamefreak. Give your games more time. Don’t rush them out as underbaked messes only made playable by week one patches. Finish them right; we can wait.
