My son was very excited and it was everything he wanted

It has moments where GameFreak could have done better, but it is an enjoyable and ambitious Pokemon game.

Always been a fan of pokemon games and this one takes it to the next level! Despite hearing about performance issues… i have yet to notice any problems playing the game other than slower frame rates when using handheld mode. Don’t listen to the haters. Ive been playing since red/vlue and this one is a huge upgrade

Game itself is a another solid experience in the Paldea region - the only elephant in the room is the glaring stability and optimization issues this game has which, understandably for some, can be a dealbreaker. Hopefully things can roll out update-wise to help with this, but it's a decent title aside from it.

Amazing game. You should get it for your kids, they will enjoy it.

Súper fun game with pretty good story line. Can’t say it’s boring it’s really amazing.

It is a great game with hours of fun and so many things to do that js different from other pokemon games

The game is poorly optimized and definitely did not deserve to be released when it was. Anything more than 10 feet in front of the character runs at like 10fps. There have been multiple texture issues and graphical glitches. The game itself could be very good if the current issues did not exist. Its just so hard to be immersed in an experience that is constantly reminding you that you're just playing a broken game. I'm not saying people should avoid the game if they're a passionate fan of the series, but for a newer player give Sword and Shield a try first or even one of the Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee ones. If this game sees improvements after future updates I'll update my review.

Purchased this for my son for his switch OLED device. The gaming graphics are great and he really likes it.

Gamr is fun even with all the bugs and they will get fixed eventually
