Still playable without performance patch. But if youve played any other pokemon open world titles, its a pretty sad step backwards.

I bought the digital version and it didn't even take 10 minutes into the game until I experienced graphical errors and the laughably low frame rate among other problems.

I didnt have any real issues with glitches but it tried to do too much and the gyms and rival are too easy. Beating the league felt lame and there is other things to do and even to get the special event 7 star raid battles you have to do a ridiculous amount of stuff post game. Cant tranafer in all of the old pokemon either. Lame game

The game is very laggy and feels empty. I hoped for better from Pokemon but this game is rushed by the team.

I love Pokemon. I’ve been playing since R/B/G. This is by far the worst Pokemon game I’ve ever played. Why are we hoping for patches and being okay with being served this absolute garbage on launch? I had such hope for this game after playing Arceus. These games are not worth $60 and I will be returning both of them.

I feel the game is all cut scenes and less game play. They need to do kess cut scenes and more gameplay.

Needs to be updates asap. Its like they didnt even do any wuality control testing. Back in my day games had to be good to go on day one, instead the consumer is now the quality tester. Shame shame shame

Pokemon company and gamefreak are not taking fully advantage of the nintendo switch if you compare it with other games. Game is not worth $60. Do you want a good game? Go for platinum, emerald or black/black2

if you absolutely 'have to have' all the pokemon games, get it. If you can live without it, just wait for a few days for this to end up in a discount bin for $2.99. This is absolute trash.

With the inconsistency of the game, I heavily recommend just playing Legends of Arceus. This has made me more angry than any other glitch filled game Ive had the misfortune of playing. Pokemon needs to give enough respect to their player base to actually fix a faulty product. Absolutely infuriating.

Terrible experience, should be unacceptable from such a successful developer and franchise.
