Fun game love that you can explore all over the land, mountains and water. Would recommend it but hate the bugs and glitches

Both Scarlet and Violet truly capture and realize the dream of a true Pokemon adventure. I have played every Pokemon game to have ever come out and none have been this much fun and fulfilling. But with that said, the unpolished performance and the horrible technical short comings keep this game from being perfect. Are these issues game breaking? No, but they are unacceptable and should be fixed!

Game is a good. New pokemon and areas to explore. Needs updates to improve frame rate on the switch and texture quality.

Not a bad game. Has its ups and downs but overall okay.

I am sure many players by now know that this game is glitchy. Game Freak pushed it out far too quickly. It is a real shame, I hope they have a patch for the multitude of glitches soon. Other than that, its an okay game. Three objectives rather than just victory road. The open world is a welcome change, no more being forced on a certain path. It is still a pokemon game in the end.

I haven’t seen any of the “game-breaking” bugs that many have been complaining about. I have seen poor renderings, occasional lag, and an overall visual experience that would leave most desiring more. Which is a fair complaint. But this is the most fun I’ve had playing a Pokemon game in a long, long time. Theres so much to do and the storyline(s) kept me enthralled til the end. Just make sure to close the game (instead of suspending it) and you’ll be fine.

Pokemon Scarlet is a good installment in the Pokemon franchise hindered by a few flaws in performance and visual quality. However, overall, the content of the game is serviceable to long time fans and the quality of life presented, as well as the interesting locales of the DLC make for an enjoyable experience to play through.

If you like to explore and collect pokemon this game is fantastic. The world is fun to roam around and the new pokemon designs are great, I've really enjoyed my time with the game. However the performance is really lacking. Frame rates drop regularly, and especially the box is a slow experience. It's the first time i've really felt the performance hinders the game, and if it just ran smoothly it would really shine.
