Overall solid game when it came out it had some bugs but its pretty solid now

Bought this game for my nephew for Christmas and within a few hours I could tell it was one of his favorite gifts this year. He was playing it on and off the rest of the day and then the next two days after whenever he had a free moment. I heard a lot of mixed reviews on the game, but honestly watching him play it mad me want to buy a copy for myself to play.

Overall this game was an adventure however lots of things could have been done better, like how I’m assuming they didn’t add shirt customization to save time, but it was still a huge inconvenience. Overall I enjoyed the stories versatility. Being able to ride your Pokémon is a great exploration mechanic and saved me a lot of time that could be better spent.

Yes, the game is glitchy, the graphics are subpar by Nintendo Switch standards, and 100% GameFreak should have made sure the game was complete before releasing; however, it is a truly unique and fresh take on the Pokemon formula. Excluding Arceus, it is the most fun I’ve had with a mainline pokemon game in a while. Definitely recommend a play through.

With the addition of Pokémon Scarlet (and Pokémon Violet) added to my growing Pokémon game collection, my new adventure continues. New adventure means new regions to explore and new Pokémon to catch. I really like the colorful artwork and graphics. It’s crisp and clear, giving it a sense of realism even though it is a game. Many hours of fun with this game.

This is easily the largest Pokemon game to date, with so many things to do and creatures to capture in the series' first open world that fans will be playing it for years. The visual issues and glitches hold it back a bit, but nothing that breaks the game. Just don't expect it to rival something like Monster Hunter or Elden Ring in execution.

I hadn’t played a Pokémon game since the days of Pokémon red, yellow, green, and blue. I figured I’d try Scarlett to see what the modern games are like and I instantly got hooked. The graphics are great and the gameplay is as fun as I remember. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun game to play by themselves or with their kids

The product - the Nintendo Switch card - works perfectly fine as advertised and receives 5 stars. The content of the product - the game itself - 3 stars. There are lots of visual glitches in Pokemon Scarlet that detract from the quality of the game and disrupt the immersion of the player. The poor traversal of terrain in this faux open-world game is frustrating. You may as well not try to explore the world until you unlock all of the mobility options (follow Arven's Herba Mystica quest for that). The rest of the game is a standard Pokemon game with cool characters and unique new gameplay options, but the amount of bugs really makes it hard to enjoy.

I grew up playing Pokemon Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Saphire, Leaf Green, Emerald and stopped after that. I did just buy a Switch and bought this new version and wow this game just isnt the same like the good old days. It isnt bad but its so different. Enjoyable but some things are much better back then, Overall I'm having fun with it

Best storyline. Bugs are numerous but not unbearable

I have not played a Pokemon game since Heart Gold. So as you can imagine this is a big change. The graphics are great. Gameplay took some getting use to, but not that different from the old way. Great game for Pokemon veterans and rookies.

Amazing game! I played it for 24 hours straight, would definitely play it again and would highly suggest it for anyone new to pokemon
