Many appreciate the game's story and the additional content offered in the double pack, including extra in-game items. However, some customers reported technical issues, such as occasional performance problems and frame rate drops. Despite these issues, the overall experience is considered enjoyable by many players.

The game is fun if you play when disconnected from the TV and move slow enough for everything to load around you constantly. I hope they push patches out to fix these issues soon.

Such a great game to play and kill some casual time away! Trip down memory lane playing the older/original Pokemon games!

The game is fun to play and the open world map is fun to explore, but the game feels unfinished next to the other Pokemon games.

    Disappointing Pokemon Scarlett & Violet

Pokemon Scarlett & Violet : Positives & Negatives in no specific order: Character customization is "better' when starting but only for your face. No clothes to buy at all. Should of kept the movement from Legends Arceus , rolling to dodge Pokemon attacks for example running while tossing pokeballs. I love the transition with music from field to battle. "Finally updated graphic /texture to Pokemon." But at the same time they look terrible on the field until you get close up & the overall game doesn't look that great. But graphics are not that important but they sure help Lol Cascarafa & Artazon is my favorite towns but it's lacking anything to do, like ALL other towns! Can change Nicknames on the spot. Can remember or forget moves on the spot. Can skip move learning & not be prompted to teach after leveling up. In the Paldea Region You have to talk to the trainers, They can't tell just by making eye contact to battle. Lol You can make TM s Auto heal You can send Pokemon out for Auto battles & Pick up items. Pokemon Center gives tips where to go. But also I miss walking into a building Pokemon Center. You can go back up to a ledge or area you jumped off of. Gives Advice on Pokemon learning a new moves "First true open world Pokemon" Even though Legends Arceus already exists lol technically semi open world. Players Can’t Catch Pokémon Outside Of Battle In Scarlet & Violet. Legends Arceus had a better Catching system. LA also had a better shopping setup where you can zoom in on said products, & plenty of clothes & merch to buy! Here you buy no clothes at all. Legends Arceus also had a better map system, you can only mark one spot on here vs alot in LA. This one has no markers ! The map is not good. No Buildings to walk into anywhere at All, gym lobbies , copy & paste restaurants & your home doesn't cut it & the Academy though cool , still lacking. Everything is copy & pasted essentially the food shops. Doors everywhere & none to enter At least in Galar you could enter buildings. Lacking npcs to talk to & lacking lore. No trainer badges or case to look at. No completion acknowledge on defeating the Elite 4. No Hall of fame or documentation of your milestone. You can't even rematch with the Elite 4 or gym leaders. After you beaten them outside of the story part. Tournament doesn't officially count but better than nothing. They're Selling us features as DLC ,that was in older base games . They make the base game hollow & sell us dlc. I'd rather buy & support spin off games like Legends & Mystery Dungeons ext. At least I know they will complete games. No voice acting figured they would by now. But it's no big deal Your Pokemon won't evolve if you lvl up after auto battle , for example my silicobra hit lvl 36 & nothing happened. They are using a new Day & night cycle, it's good. Im use to the original time cycle Though lol . Pokemon Pop in & out of view on the field alot of times ,right in Front of you out of no where . Alot of the Pokemon placement in areas makes no sense. Like for example why is a Leafeon & Heracross in the Snowy mountains.? They Took away the option for Set / Switch during battles. Wheres the challenge? The difficulty is pitiful. 7 out of 8 gyms was push overs sadly, Kofu was the only challenge. I had lvl 70+ Pokemon vs lvl 44-45 for the 8th Badge. & I was even grinding for levels. Game crashing 3 times Twice with engaging and ending a battle & once during union circle. Frame rate & lag , this is tolerable to an extent but disappointing. Buggy & unpolished overall. I wish there was a system where it could adjust trainers or Gym leaders. Based on your Pokemon lvls in party to give more challenge. It's very unbalanced & depending on where you go you will be greatly overpowered! Needs a balanced system! Star fall bases all felt & all the same No puzzles anywhere Ditto are disguised lol No victory road No National Dex End game was pretty cool & nice to re battle gyms but still lacking more challenge. I loved the Area zero felt like a untouched sacred place. Overall Paldea felt pretty empty at times unfortunately like In between towns & stuff. Plus selling 35$ Dlc that should of been I'n the game already just a paywall for more Pokemon. Another generation that's been rushed again sadly.

While I dislike Gamefreak's apparent laziness when it comes to evolving the series, at the core it is still the same formula that I've grown up with and loved.

What can i say about this game that others havent already….this game has its many glitches but at the same time I’m not letting that blind me from a great experience (heck one of my favorite games of all time still is littered with bugs and glitches and crashes). One of the best Stories in a Pokemon Game since Generation 5. The characters are among some of my All Time Favorites. A game I see myself enjoying after several months for sure.

I was excited for this game but playing it I can tell there trying way to hard in the looks of the game. I haven’t noticed any of the bugs other people have had but i can tell its asking alot of the current nintendo switch. Maybe the performance could improve if they do a update to compensate the aging chip in the switch
