The game definitely has issues. I wont go into it in this review as im sure you have heard about it everywhere else on the internet. But its not that bad in the gameplay department. When the frame rate isn't dipping below 20fps and taking me out of my immersive state, i am having quite a bit of fun. Do i regret buying it? Kinda .. but not really. I just wish Gamefreak would understand that taking more time to make sure a game is good to go with few issues before release date is okay! Its okay to delay a game until it is ready. I hope someday they stop doing yearly pokemon releases and Start pumping out quality games every few years instead. It would be nice to have that time in between to replay past games as we wait for the next installment

Just about what you always wanted Pokémon to be: running around in an open world catching things and taking in the region. The performance issues are there but haven’t been nearly as impactful as described on my experience, and it’s been the most fun I’ve had with a Pokémon game since the original.

I will always purchase new Pokémon games. Pre-order through Best Buy is great.

I am going to disagree with most of the reviews here on Best buy. This has to be by far the worst entry in the Pokemon mainline series. Technical issues severely hamper the enjoyment. Stores are now menus at the door instead of physically going inside them. The graphics have definitely taken a step back for a series that has never been very pretty. The storyline is something even a 10-year-old will roll their eyes to. Overall the game isn't all doom and gloom. The open-world idea feels right at home with this franchise and some quick accessibility inputs make the game more streamlined. Anyways this feels like a game that had great ideas that unfortunately were not fully cooked. This game needed another year in the oven.

Bought as a gift for my wife. She really loved the game!

The game is currently suffering from bugs and performance issues but will hopefully be fixed in the next few months. If you enjoy pokemon its easily one of the best games out of the series. I personally love the game and haven’t dropped it since release, currently sitting at 142 hours.

Amazing game. Glad the double pack was available at best buy. Because other stores had stock issues. Honestly disappointed with the lack of physical bonus items attached to pre order with the double pack. Digital items in game hold no value.

I really liked the gameplay and experience of the game. Its been fun playing and going on my Pokemon journey. There are some issues with frames dropping and such, but it hasnt bothered me too much. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a pokemon game to play!
