I've played almost all Pokemon games, and I'm just not feeling like they're been as good as the first 3-4 Generations. Nintendo REALLY Needs to Shake things up in the Pokemon Games

It's Pokemon. Another entry of Pokemon. Don't expect a lot of new content or a re imagining of the franchise. It does have some good quality of life changes that make it more enjoyable/less grindy.

It's just more of the same from Gamefreak, granted the game is running on a handheld engine when it shouldn't be, it looks fine and works fine, but could've been so much more.

The transition from the 3DS to current gen handheld with the high poly count is just not the vibe. I will never get over the N64 trees, hamfisted "wild areas", and downright lazy implemention of pokemon animation (including the moves in battle). It's just not at all what I envisioned. Was it so wrong to hope for Pokemon Stadium meets flagship Pokemon game with graphics on par with smash at the very least?

This is a Christmas gift purchased for my grandson as you know it’s not Christmas yet so I don’t know how he likes it or he doesn’t like it he has not received her gift yet.

It’s just another Pokémon game. That’s it. If you or your kid loves Pokémon, then get it. If you’re on the fence about Pokémon then avoid it.

Bought it and never played it great game but itd really different from the originals Pokemon releases. Take a chance and try it out you might like it.

If you are into pokemon you are getting more of the same thing for the most part. Not saying the game isnt a good time it's just more of the same on a new console.

Sword and Shield are actually fairly enjoyable, but they feel like something is missing. What's missing is probably half the pokedex, and the routes feeling barren.

Broken Promises sadly on stuff they said they were going to do in the game and never did and not all the pokemon in the game is a massive disappointment for the hardcore

It was an alright experience. Being older, I’m blinded by nostalgia of the older generations. Nintendo needs to revert a bit to some classic styles.

This was an alright Pokémon game. I only bought it again because I had a code that I could only redeem in Pokémon Shield.

Although this game is pretty fun and exciting, finishing the story only takes 1 to 2 days and I wish it could have been a longer story.

It's not good and its not bad but at least it's a new gen pokemon on a console. I should have retired many years ago but I keep coming back since Pokémon Blue

Bought this game for my boyfriend for christmas. He says it not as practical as a pokemon game, because every character does everything.

If you must try the new Pokémon game you’ll have no choice but not nearly as great or as memorable as before. Too easy, not all Pokémon available.

Missing the national dex and taking out a lot of other features really made this game useless after you beat the game. Otherwise it’s a decent Pokémon game.

Average game but does get repetitive after a short time. Slow paced to get Pokémon leveled up to fight more advanced Pokémon.

Good game. I enjoy playing it. I can hardly put it down

"Pokémon Shield Edition - Nintendo Switch" is the first game my son got it when we purchased Nintendo Switch. He likes it a lot
