Bought a Switch in preparation for this game and so far has been a great experience. Great for introducing your kid or non familiar players to the game.

Excellent game! So much fun on the t.v. or on the go! The kids have a copy of each version now, so they gonna catch em all!

I have played this game for years, and this one is definitely a twist on the previous games. They added so many new features in this game it’s crazy!

Great game but it was way easier than most of the other Pokémon games. It felt like it was catered more towards the younger generation with how easy it was. Overall it still was a good game that I wish was more challenging.

This is my first Pokémon game since Pokémon Pearl and it’s changed in many great ways, but also some of the Pokémon are just weird.

Fun games for kids. Still not sure the difference between the Sword and Shield versions but don't think you need both.

I haven't played Pokemon since Blue and have fond memories of it. Since a couple of decades has pass since, I expected much more however the end result is a game that seems stuck in its past, keeping much of the core the same. I am glad they took some chances at least at having a wild area, a tiny glimpse of a potential future open world Pokemon game. The story is very boring as well as most of the effects and background designs and graphics. Sometimes it feels like a PS2 game. It's clear the Pokemon Company has not evolved with the times - maybe in the future, it would be best if the main games are produced collaboratively - Pokemon needs bold new directions.

I would play it over and over again. It’s a good story and I like the new look on how you get to see your person running instead of just a top view.

Such a great game, it’s hard to put it down. There are dlc’s you can by in game but they’re not necessary. So glad I bought it.

Really good game from long avid Pokémon fan. Easy to play on the switch..I was hoping for actual voice overs but hey, its still fun

My son loves this game, doesn't see much of difference between sword and shield ands actually wanted to save me money ands not get the combo pack!

it's always nice to have both versions of the Pokemon game so that I got to use one as my main game and the other one to try new things on

had to get this while shacked up while quarantining and beat it in 3 days it was so much fun took me back to my childhood
