I bought this as one of the Christmas gifts for my 9 year old grandson. When he is not doing schoolwork, he has his Switch in his hand playing this game. That’s an indication that the game is great.

I will admit, from the second I turned this game on I was hooked! It took approximately 11 hours to beat the champion! So different than Pokémon Eevee! Both are awesome, but the graphics in this version is insanely better!

I have not bought a Pokémon game in a long time. I have greatly enjoyed playing this game. It brings back memories and is exciting to explore the newer Pokémon. Glad to have made the purchase! Would definitely recommend.

Great game! I bought this game last year, and at first I thought, because of the pandemic, that I couldn't get a switch to play it on, but BestBuy had them! Great store and great game.

I have been addicted to playing this game but it is somewhat repetitive. It's a good Pokemon game, but definitely not my favorite. This game is beautiful on switch and I have constantly played it since purchasing. The fossil Pokemon are ridiculous and somewhat terrifying. Still, I appreciate a pretty good Pokemon game on the switch finally.

For me is the best Pokémon game (at the moment) due to the quality of the graphics and the feeling of the real world in the game.

I was really looking forward to playing a new Pokemon game on the Switch, and Pokemon Shield did not disappoint. It isn't perfect, and is a little too easy, but as a "casual" Pokemon fan, I really enjoyed my experience with this game and felt it was worth the full price. I know I'll continue to pick it up and play in the future.

Purchased this for my son and he loved it. Definitely got our money’s worth with the amount of gameplay he was able to get out of the game. He also really like the sword version of the game.

Pretty easy even for a pokemon game also have the pokemon are no longer available. Still a pretty fun game with lots to do. Kids and casuals will love it but hardcore gamers will only find difficulty in the competitive aspect as well as doing some raid battles so if you don't like those things, I would probably wait for a price drop.

I purchased the Pokémon Shield Edition - Nintendo Switch for my son for his birthday. He loves it and was very surprised. I am planning on purchasing more for two of my nephews for Christmas.

I’ve always loved playing all the Pokemon games and this game is no exception. I’ve already logged 50+ countless hours and most of it was spent in the Wild Area, which I thought was a great addition to the game.

I grew up on pokemon games. And this is the one I've always been waiting for. Because, most of all, you can play with friends whenever you want. Or even just random people. So much to do!

My boyfriend loves this game as well as the switch we also purchased at BestBuy! It’s fun to play this is a more individual game but most switch games are multiplayer. But who doesn’t love the Pokémon universe!

There is a lot of controversy surrounding this game, but let's face it. Children will love it! Even a longtime player found this game enjoyable for over 20 hours so far! Much better than Sun and Moon in many ways. Sure, not every old pokemon is in the game, but there are plenty of brand new pokemon that have their own charm.....

This is the first pokemon game I have played since Gold and Silver. I am really enjoying this game and even got my brother to purchase the Sword edition!

Partial open world environment but still keeping to its roots with the original. Bummer that it doesn't have a very expansive pokedex, but still fun. The introduction of dynamax battles is a fun addition.

Been waiting for this for so long and am loving it. I'm hoping there will be a tie in with Pokemon Go like there was with Pokemon Let's Go, but if not, it's still a very fun game as are all of the Pokemon games.

Absolutely love the game. I grew up playing silver and to see a 3D Pokémon game like this is amazing. My only complaint, which isn’t bad enough to make me give 4 stars instead of 5, is that it feels like you get a lot of really strong Pokémon early on. Minor spoiler, but you can Growlithe and Roselia early on when usually they come after the 3rd or 4th gym from what I recall. There are some big improvements, such as the Pokémon storage box system, which now allows you to seamlessly move between boxes, put in and take out Pokémon very quickly. Keep in mind the last game I played was Platinum, so maybe some changes aren’t actually that new. Highly recommend.

My first experience with Pokemon was playing Let's Go Pikachu with my son. That game was very simple and enjoyable. This game builds on that with a more open world to explore and plenty pokemon to catch.

I've been late to jump on the Pokemon bandwagon, but with this game for the Switch, I have to say I'm hooked now! Gotta catch'em all! Story and gameplay are great, can't ask for anything better in a game!
