Step in the right direction

This entry marks them (slowly) adding layers to the game world while still leaving deep rpg mechanics & quests to be desired. Nonetheless this is the best entry in over 10 years.

An underwhelming game

It's fine, but it never felt like it took the leap that Zelda and Mario have taken to embrace the future of gaming. Very limited open world area, mostly linear gameplay, and the story is honestly kind of a de-escalation after Sun and Moon. And of course, the elephant in the room. The sprites. They look like upscaled 3ds sprites, so why couldn't we get all of the pokedex again? As far as what Best Buy is responsible for, the game was brand new and works fine, I'm just not super excited about the game.

One annoying thing is that you have to buy a Nintendo online membership to play or trade online, which wasn't the case for the older games.

It's the same story line with two of the gym leaders swapped out and a couple of different Pokemon.

Passable for the expansion..

It's probably been rushed and it feels like it.

Good game for someone new to Pokemon though; so I would recommend it if someone is interested.

Not as cool and let’s go pikachu

I king of got board with walking through a large space fighting wild Pokémon just to level up to play gyms. Just less satisfying then “let’s go” in my opinion

Nintendo REALLY Needs to Shake things up in the Pokemon Games
