My daughter loves her Pokemon shield game. It gives her hours of entertainment. It is a must have for true Pokemon fans. One of their best titles yet

The game is an improvement from Sun/Moon and is genuinely the most fun I've had with the pokemon games. Everything about the game is good and the music is fantastic. There is an "issue" of a bunch of pokemon not being in the game, but let's be honest, no game that wasn't the first two gens had every single pokemon (excluding version exclusives of course) unless you transferred them from an older game, and more likely than not it will not affect your enjoyment of this game. It definitely doesn't deserve the review bombing it is getting.

It is a very great game for my kid. He play on each weekends with his friend and easy to attached with TV system so he play with his Nintendo game

Perfect for those the enjoy Pokemon - while you can add the online extras - a great game for the little ones without having pay the extra online.

Great Pokemon game. Just a notch down from the best of the 3DS generation. Graphics are great and gameplay is very fun. Worth it.

like every pokemon game i loved it. how ever it was the shortest pokemon game I've played. at lest the gotta catch'em all part is now engaging, by telling you what to catch next, and showing you where you can catch it. over all a fun entry in the pokemon franchise.

I finally caved in and bought this game at $39.99 for my son. I If you are a Pokémon fan you definitely should get this game. What a great game.

If you’ve ever played a mainline Pokémon game then you pretty well know what to expect, mostly more of the same thing but looks great on a full blown home console.

Love the graphics uplift, was an an enjoyable experience where I felt involved in the story as opposed to blindly battling left and right. If you're looking for a catch-'em-all experience, note it'll be limited to what's in Galar region. This wasn't a deal breaker to me because the series was always a catch-'em-all in the game you're playing, not a collect-'em-all across all existing and future games. I never manage to catch them all anyway, but the game was streamlined very well and with the addition of raids, I feel that I could probably catch them all without feeling burned out.

Bought this as a Christmas gift and boy was it a hit! They have never played a Pokémon game but picked it off and embarked on their journey to become a champion!

I love that I can finally play Pokémon on the big screen! And open world! What’s also awesome is that you can customize your character to look just like you.

My son asked for this game for so long and finally was able to get it, he loves everything about Pokémon great game !

Loved sword, wanted to “catch em all!” I’ve been a Pokémon fan from day one (which shows my age) but I’ve always hated the marketing ploy that is you have to buy two games to complete your collection if you don’t have a friend who had the opposite version. I could understand if it was just one generation of games, but after how many gens now? Like 8? 10? I would like to be able to get them all in one purchase. That would be nice.

I was a bit skeptical due to the Pokédex cut but you will not be disappointed the game is beautiful and super entertaining + there’s a ton of things to do in it!

:D It's fun seeing what pokemon you'll encounter but also fun having the option to wait for bushes to shake for a surprise encounter. Enjoyed the storyline for the most part but overall it felt like the developers had too much fun with the pokemon designs/stories/and the post-story game. Didn't really enjoy the battles leading up to the basic legendary pokemon (not the ones on the covers but the "evil" one) but overall enjoyed the ability to run around in the wild. Didn't like that you couldn't just capture pokemon higher leveled than your badges though.

The graphics might not be the cleanest, and it's a bummer to lose some old Pokèmon, but the open world and lack of random encounters more than makes up for it.

Bought this for a gift for my son, who loves all things Pokemon. He has the Sword game and expansion pack. So this will complete the set.

Nice exciting game, ideal for anyone, including pokemon collectors. The game is addictive, and entertaining, I mainly play with friends.

Love this game! In great condition and I did look up which one I wanted first so I knew what Pokémon I could start off with/end up with.

Short story but raids are a lot of fun missing features of pokemon past. Overall if your a fan you'll find something to complain about but it'll be enjoyable.
