Innovative Pokemon Experience

They're different than the Pokémon I grew up on, but I think it's great that Game Freak is constantly trying to add and alter to provide a different experience every time a new game comes through. It's still Pokémon for the seasoned veterans, but with enough change and accessibility for newcomers too!

The game flows well and all the systems are well connected. A lot of quality of life improvements are implemented and the competitive scene should be the best it's been. I haven't played since Red and Silver and was able to jump in Sword and Shield with my siblings and renew my love for Pokemon.

A solid entry in the series

The music and graphics are also very good. The dynamic raid battles are more fun than I thought, but they do wear down soon and dont serve as a sustainable post game activity as it seems was intended. If you like pokemon you'll enjoy this game.
