It's a good gen to start off for people who have never played pokemon and don't feel like buying a 3DS to catch up. The online raids makes you spend hours at a time leveling up your team at a very fast rate (faster than exp share) and you can get through the story within a week. 10/10 would visit Galar again.

It's another pokemon game on console. This one is much more entertaining than Let's Go! Game is very easy as expected of a pokemon game, so parents don't need to teach their kids how to play unless they aren't able to read. Downside to this game is the multiplayer experience. Nintendo is notorious for having bad multiplayer, but this game makes it very annoying to play together with friends or randoms. With that said, I would still recommend either Shield or Sword.

Pokemon Shield is a Breath of Fresh Air, graphics are good, Character Models are Amazing and Gameplay is ok.

My son loved his Christmas present. We had been looking for this game. For awhile. Glad yall had it in stock.

Game entertained me for hours of play. I like the wild area and hope to see it in future games but improved.

My son loves this game, just be certain you get the correct one... originally I purchased shield and he wanted sword more, so for Christmas I went to purchase sword to complement his shield... and accidentally bought shield again! Regardless, I know he gives the game 5/5!

That is if most of the controversies surrounding it don't bother you too much. There is no national dex. Most of your favorites may not be in this title. Animations could use some work. Wailord is really tiny compared to its other 3D renditions. But there is a lot of amazing quality of life improvements with a slightly better than average story (compared to other Pokemon titles). I would still recommend it despite some of the baggage it has to carry around.

Purchased Shield for one son, and Sword for the other. They are in their 20's but we started playing pokemon as a family when they were 10. Nice to revisit and play together with my grown boys! Quality time with my boys and grandkids. We are all loving the games! Good job

My son enjoyed it. Great fun and enjoyable. Would recommend it fir all to play and gave fun together.

I haven’t played a Pokémon game since they were on the gameboy so I didn’t know what to expect. I was definitely a fan of this new game. I played for hours on release weekend and finished the main story in a few days. It was great and recommended for any Pokémon fan new or old.

I got this game when it was on sale. I got my younger brother Pokemon Sword for Christmas and he absolutely loved it and beat the game so I got him this game for his birthday. I am very excited to give this to him next weekend. My friends have also played versions of this game and love it as well.

A great game for kids and adults of all ages to get started with the popular series. Great open-world play.

So I am an old school pokemon player and granted this game is really good it's also missing a bunch of features that were in previous pokemon games and the pokedex well dont get me started on that. Loved the game. It's a new take on nostalgia. It lacked in the overall story but waiting on the expansion.

I got this and a few other games to help entertain my children during the Covid-19 semi lockdown. They can only do schoolwork so much and for a time we were told not to go to the parks or use the Muni trails. My son's had to have something to do and this helped fill a few hours a week.

Pokemon Shield is a great forward for the Pokemon series. Unique additions with enhanced battle mode. Also amazing new characters with new held items to add to the fun of battle strategy. Great story mode to add to more hours of fun, exploration, and pokemon catching. Its hard to "catch them all"!

Bought Sword first and we back a bought this one. I play it with my brothers! Hours of fun. quality game!

Maybe a little too geared towards younger players. It would’ve been better if was a little more difficult.

It was a fun game, but honestly it was too easy to beat. I remember past Pokemon games taking at least 60 hours to play through at a comfortable pace, but I finished this game in about 30 hours. Not to mention, I felt like the game was not as difficult as the older ones overall. I wish they had added more to make the game a better value.
