Bought a Switch in preparation for this game and so far has been a great experience. Great for introducing your kid or non familiar players to the game.

Excellent game! So much fun on the t.v. or on the go! The kids have a copy of each version now, so they gonna catch em all!

This installment of pokemon is among the best! It's packed with convenient features that add to the fun experience of playing in the world of pokemon.

Purchased this for my grandson. He hasn't stopped playing it since he got it. I don't know much about games, but he is 10 and is really enjoying it

Great content had a blast playing it. Controls were super easy. Great for long car trips or just playing with friends and family.

Great game but it was way easier than most of the other Pokémon games. It felt like it was catered more towards the younger generation with how easy it was. Overall it still was a good game that I wish was more challenging.

Fun games for kids. Still not sure the difference between the Sword and Shield versions but don't think you need both.

I'm enjoying the game so far! Just getting back into Pokemon and this game makes it easy to understand all the new features in this generation.

I have played this game for years, and this one is definitely a twist on the previous games. They added so many new features in this game it’s crazy!

This is my first Pokémon game since Pokémon Pearl and it’s changed in many great ways, but also some of the Pokémon are just weird.

I haven't played Pokemon since Blue and have fond memories of it. Since a couple of decades has pass since, I expected much more however the end result is a game that seems stuck in its past, keeping much of the core the same. I am glad they took some chances at least at having a wild area, a tiny glimpse of a potential future open world Pokemon game. The story is very boring as well as most of the effects and background designs and graphics. Sometimes it feels like a PS2 game. It's clear the Pokemon Company has not evolved with the times - maybe in the future, it would be best if the main games are produced collaboratively - Pokemon needs bold new directions.

A very fun game, my daughter asked for it. I watch her play a few times, now I am hooked also.

Such a great game, it’s hard to put it down. There are dlc’s you can by in game but they’re not necessary. So glad I bought it.

Really good game from long avid Pokémon fan. Easy to play on the switch..I was hoping for actual voice overs but hey, its still fun

I would play it over and over again. It’s a good story and I like the new look on how you get to see your person running instead of just a top view.

had to get this while shacked up while quarantining and beat it in 3 days it was so much fun took me back to my childhood
