This game is a blast so far. Feels awesome to play a Pokemon game on switch since I can play portably or on the go. If you're new to Pokemon or a seasoned player, you'll have a good time playing sword or shield. I grew up playing Pokemon. My girlfriend has never played. We both love the game

The game overall felt a bit too easy. Story wasn't the best but I do like a lot of the new pokemon designs (especially alcremie). I don't really care too much about the cut pokedex, but I do believe it is a valid complaint. There are some decent quality of life changes that I would like to see in furthur entries in the series. Trainer cards being customizable, bikes traveling in water and running without holding a button is a welcome change

This game is a blast! It definitely lived up to the hype of being an original Pokemon game in the series.

Great Pokémon game. I was puzzled with the way the characters talk like they're British or something. The game was enjoyable, even though they put Pokémon from past generations in the game itself and not as the National Dex. I really like that they brought back the Gyms and Gym Badges.

Classic Pokemon action with a few new twists. I haven't put it down since I picked up the double pack.

This game is a great game to play on the Switch, with the new characters, Pokémon, and mechanics.

So if your a Pokemon gamers this is one to get and play this continuation of the series. The dual pack does cost more and that is part of the deal but you do get extras and bonus with the purchase as well. So if you get it get it you won't be unhappy with this purchase.

It definitely has its issues (graphics not at the level of other Switch games, lack of national dex, terrible writing/story) but it’s still the same Pokémon formula that folks have come to be addicted to and the more open world is an interesting draw. And the upcoming DLc will hopefully fix some of the issues with lack of post-game and Pokémon.

Game is excellent. My brother and sister love it. and how convenient that it comes in one pack!

More like the pokemon games from the 3ds, ds, & gameboy days with a 3D rendered environment.

Great addition to franchise. Nothing that has not been done in other games but it's still fun.

A super fun game! Purchasing it like this was the perfect way to get copies for me and my sister at a slightly cheaper price, plus it included bonuses for both games, and a really high quality metal coin. Love it so much, thanks Best Buy!

Well honestly it's been a while since I've purchased a physical came in a while for my son, do it was actually cool to go through the process of preordering and watching all the gamers get hyped waiting in line for the game. So far he has really been engaged with it.

Walks you through it a bit too much for adults, but the core game is still there. Good time.

Fun game play, but kids think gym battles are a little hard. That means good game for dad.

Lots of quality of life improvements going into this, the latest mainline Pokemon series game and the first to come to home consoles. Catch 'em all, trade 'em all, win the gyms, become the champion...same as it always was, just better than it ever was.

It’s a kids game. Typical Pokémon game! Very fun. Would recommend to anyone with a Switch
