These games have received a lot of criticism, and not all of it is unwarranted. But as a Pokémon fan since Red and Blue, I’m having a ton of fun playing Sword and Shield! Highly recommended for any Pokémon fan.

Just buy it. It’s a must have if you love Pokémon!

game is fun if you like pokemon. slow start bit worth it

My 9 year old has played most of the Pokemon games on various consoles. This new version on the switch has kept him entertained for 5+ times longer than any of the other ones so I assume it must be great.

It's a good game but too easy. It was still enjoyable.

Easy to beat fun to play with friends. Prefer local play than internet unless you're random trading. My brother and I enjoy this game very much yes I paid $120 for this on pre-order.

While it’s a fun game that I play til this day I kinda regret buying the duel pack. Instead I should have just bought only Pokémon Shield as both games are basically the same with barely any differences between the two. It was a total waste of money, I recommend buying the single pack.

We bought this for our 10 year old grandson for Christmas. When he unwrapped and saw what they were he really reacted because he loved them. I don't play the games but he does and he loves them.

If you've played before you know what to expect. The new gym battles are cool and a lot of tedious things were removed. The one downside is that the Pokidex is a lot smaller than previous games.

This game is fun if you haven't played pokemon in awhile but it does seem like its missing some content. I guess Gamefreak decided to add a separated expansion pass. I had fun with the game and will most likely be picking up the expansion pass as well.

They have made a lot of quality of life changes with this version. Much easier to grind levels as the whole party will now get experience. It is also easier to be more competitive with the changes too. Only downside is the the Pokemon that got cut from the game and the Pokemon still doing only a few animations.

Game overall was solid, especially considering it was the first real storyline on the Nintendo Switch console. I enjoyed playing it but it did get stale at times so I hope in future games, there is more depth to the storyline but overall it was decent.

Bought the bundle pack for my son's for xmas. My 11 year old loves it as does my 6 year old. Not only a great game with beautiful graphics, it also encourages my 6 year old to read more.
