My son didn't really play it that much but I guess he's not into it as much as he once was.

Short game but you will have fun if you play with others. It might just be a 3 month game

They really put out a poor product but it's Pokemon so we have to accept it.

With over 50% of Pokemon missing, I don't see where the devs time was spent.

For years now it seems like Gamefreak has decided they no longer care about the Pokemon franchise. It's a real shame, because this is the biggest IP in the world, generating billions of dollars in revenue every year, and yet they still produce low quality, half-baked games. I was really looking forward to this game, but I was sadly let down by the removal of 3/4 of the Pokemon which were available in previous generations. And as if to add insult to injury, the new Pokemon they created are hideously boring and unimaginative. Since Gamefreak gave us Sword and Shield, I truly hope Nintendo and the Pokemon company decide to give them the axe before developing the next game, because they are honestly ruining the series.

Disappointing from the quality to my enjoyment the story was lacking but i appreciate the new idea

Game is great but disappointed that I didn’t receive my digital ecard for preordering the game.

Can be fun, but the Pokemon Series needs to switch things up, plus the graphics aren't great.

so i preorder the game from here mainly because it came with something different then the other places the coin thing, it only came with 1 coin (double sided) though the coin in the picture shows 2 coins. if i knew that i would of gone somewhere else for cheaper price. also came pretty late for delivery could of gone to the store to get this faster.

Great 40% of a game. Bring back the NatDex. And also mega evolution while you're at it.

I had high hope of this game since it is the first continuation of the mainline games. However, I regretably have to report this is a huge disappointment bc of how lazy GameFreak has become. There is no innovation, huge cuts to Pokedex, poor graphics, and boring story.

The story is shorter than usual. The gameplay is easier than usual. The interface for online connectivity is awful. You can't directly trade with friends. You can't voice chat while trading to negotiate. GTS is inexplicably gone. The game launched without it's Bank app support. The dynamax gimmick is just a gimmick.

If you are buying this game for kids who struggle to read, I advise not to get it unless your willing to spend all of your time reading the dialogue for them. We've learned there are no options for readers support or features to read along or aloud.

the new Pokemon sucks. creators have lost their imagination. they should give up already.

There has been a lot of backlash surrounding this game in the past few months. Bought this game on a whim and so far I've been thoroughly enjoying it. This game is not the same as the Let's Go titles as it has improvements all across the board not to mention this is the first full-fledged pokemon game for the switch. If you are a Pokemon fan, this won't disappoint.
