I think it is a fun Pokemon game with a nice open world area. There have been a lot of improvement since the game came out. The story is short but there is a lot of replay value with the way you catch certain Pokemon.

If you have a Switch, and ever played pokemon on other Nintendo consoles, you will need to add Sword/Shield to your catalog.

This is a great game in the franchise. My son loves it & can play it on his own. The graphics are awesome.

This game is awesome, I played the original Pokémon games on gameboy and this is so different and so cool.

I got this as a birthday present for my boyfriend with the switch litr. He absolutely loves it and we get to play Pokemon side by side!

I like the game but its very similar to the experience from the 3ds games. I'm always excited to see what pokemon they'll add to these new regions. It was the main driving force for me when playing the game. Sadly, there were some things that I did notice that took away from the experience. For a Switch game, there is a lot that needed to be done to make this feel like an actual console title. The game looks rough in some areas, animations are as basic as they've always been, no voice acting despite having cutscenes. game performance tanks when exploring the 'Wild Area' online. The game is also short, easy, and very linear. Story is as basic as the come.

I remember play the old school Pokémon ( red, blue, yellow, and green) I think that it is amazing playing this one.

Bought bad a gift for my daughters. She loves the game and enjoy trading Pokémon with her friends and siblings

Was gifted a Switch, and this was the first game I wanted to get for it. Have not been disappointed in the game play or the controls.

As a long-time Pokemon fan (from basically the beginning), I have enjoyed this one. I am only disappointed that I have to spend an additional amount of money to buy an expansion pass to have the complete experience.

My nephew loves this game. He was very happy when he opened it.

Was able to get this game for $10 using my best buy rewards! Probably wouldn't pay full price for the game though.
