    My son has played most of the Pokémon games and enjoys this one the most. He does not have shield to compare that to.

    So far 10 hours in and about third of the way through. It’s a good game but struggles with dynamic weather. Good choice of characters but certain main line ones are missing.

    Finally a console Pokemon game. I've put in a few hours and so far so good. My only gripe is it's 2019 and there's still no voice acting, however the gameplay is an A+. If you like Pokemon, go out and buy this now!
