I have been wanting to get this for a while now and I like it so far. It's very challenging for me, but then again, I like a challenge.

Fanboy Son loves it and is collecting them all. The game provides the necessary entertainment on the go for him.

I am loving the latest Pokémon game. I skipped last gen, so a ton of these pokemon are new to me. I know it doesn't have the full pokedex, but that doesn't bother me at all.

The game was great and I enjoyed playing it. Still, there is much to do for Game Freak: the game engine is quite behind the industry, and we need more Pokémon available!

Brand New, in protective film. I always prefer owning the game card than having a digital code. Takes up less space on the actual console.

Already purchased Shield with Sword being on sale it was real easy to pickup. New content is being added all the time nintendo online makes it better.

I ordered this barely a week before release and it got here on day one. As a huge Pokémon fan I loved this! I will definitely pre-order from here again

...and it has brought my family great shame. I wanted to be the very best, but it turns out I never was. Those ever-elusive Pokémons haunt my dreams. Someday...

I loved the first game. It was hard to catch the Pokémon, there were multipliers, and you could fill out a dex. This is kind of dumbed down. One button to toss a pokeball and no multipliers. Can’t even fill out your Pokédex.

What can I say, it is a single player Pokémon game; if you are looking at it you probably already know what it is about and just have to have it! Gotta catch’em all!

This game was watered-down for newcomers that simplifies the addictive gameplay loop. Additionally, various fan-favorite pokemon were excluded from the game, which is disappointing. Overall, the game is enjoyable from start to finish even if it was missing much wanted pokemon.

Pokemon really helped my child improve his reading skills. He was so interested in capturing the monsters he wanted to know what was being said. As long as they make them and he's interested then I will buy them for him.

Broken Promises sadly on stuff they said they were going to do in the game and never did and not all the pokemon in the game is a massive disappointment for the hardcore

I can tell the game isn't finished due to its short length, lack of plot, etc. But there's definitely a lot of good things like good character animations, quality of life features, etc. I wouldn't pay $60 for a game like this (probably $40), but it's still an overall good game.

Good game but when taking the power of the switch into consideration the game felt lackluster. Unlike previous games there isn’t much to do outside of the main story, and also the online feature leaves much to be desired.

This game's visuals are amazing, like Breath of the Wild meets Pokemon Classics. I personally love this game but I do feel like the removal of over 400 Pokemon from the game itself is a real let down. Hopefully there will be an update or DLC that will provide the missing ones.

i can’t stop playing! Though the actual story line is pretty easy it still offers tons of post story content that keeps you interested! Can’t wait for the dlcs!

Pokémon Sword is a fun game with a lot of content and has over 400 Pokémon. I enjoyed playing this game and is a must have for any Pokémon fan.

The story and new Pokemon are great as always, but my issue with the game comes when Gamefreak decided to simply not put in hundreds of older Pokemon despite every Pokemon being available in every previous new game.

Someone please convince best buy to reinstate their gamers club membership. Unfortunately I likely won't buy games at best buy after my membership goes away.
