This game was extremely disappointing. I could easily reach several hundred hours in past Pokemon games, but with the lack of content/features and the insane amount of monetization of features that were included in previous games, I did not want to play this game after the rushed story.

Don't waste your money on this. There are far better games on the Switch to play which offer a unique and interesting gameplay experience. Pokémon has been following the same formula for years now and this game is no different. With the promise and potential of the Switch at their disposal, GameFreak has made a game that looks and performs like it would should be on a 3DS (and also being $20 cheaper). The series does have a slightly rotating camera in the new wild area though, so let's celebrate marginal improvements! In all seriousness though, this game was a major disappointment. This series must evolve, but after over 20 years of doing the same thing, I'm not holding my breath for that to happen.

This is the worst pokémon game they made. I finished it and the expansions. I only liked scorbunny and its evolutions but otherwise this game was the most boring.

Not a good game, horrible pokemon game. This game will hold your hand more than a parent of a toddler crossing the street. If you just want to play a game and not a tutorial then I can't say this is a good choice.

The game was too short. I beat this game in less than a week. If you’re new to Pokémon you would like it. But if you’ve played Pokémon games before you will think that this game had nothing new to offer.

I actually regret purchasing this... I haven’t played much since buying it. Grew up watching Pokémon and wanted to give this a try, but it’s definitely not a great game for any first time Pokémon game players. The people who said the graphics were horrible were NOT lying. Very disappointing.
