The most involved Pokemon game yet. The basic game mechanics classic to Pokemon will be familiar to fans while the new features are a welcome breath of fresh air, making an enjoyable experience for new and veteran players.

Loved loved loved! Thought I was going to hate it because the game started off a little slow to me but picked up instantly! Finally finished it and I still want more! 10/10

It's pokemon. I have a good time with this game, the gimmick is this one is nothing new sadly. The open "wild" are is cool, but the Dynamax, and Gigantamax is just mega evolutions from X&Y, with the Z moves from Sun and Moon.

Love this game. Reminds me a lot of Pokémon sapphire with how the gameplay works, it’s just with newer gen pokemon. Only thing you have to get used to is the dialogue but otherwise very good game!

This is the best Pokémon game so far and my preference is the Sword version. This is a unique experience and it's going to keep you entertained for a long time with continuous events happening every week.

This game gives me the feels as a child when playing pokemon on the Nintendo 64 and Gameboy traveling the world catching all the rare pokemon that I can. Now if it's even cooler that we can trade pokemon with people online :)

It's been quite a while since I've delved into a Pokemon game, and this was the perfect time to jump back in. Loving the graphics, and all the cute new characters. I was hoping for some old favorites to be available in this game, but unfortunately not every pokemon was able to make it into this game. Hopefully they'll be available with upcoming DLC.

If you love Pokemon games, you'll love this. It's keeps it's style as a game designrd for handheld playing, so don't expect a massive 100+ hour rpg, that's not what they were going for. But they took the classic model made it better!

I got this game as a gift for a 13 year old boy. My son has it and wanted his friend to have it too so they can play together. Fun game and both my son and his friend love it.

Excellent for new and old players alike. I haven't been as enthused about the expansions and how easy everything is to get now, but the base game was a great return for me after only playing the early games.

The game has some awesome and interesting new features that combine some of the latest Pokémon games such as Pokémon Let’s Go (Eevee and Pikachu) and Pokémon Go. I enjoyed the game and it’s first appearance on Nintendo’s latest console.

Not since the 4th Pokémon generation has a game really brought the brand forward, and this game is no different. Lots of changes made for the first switch Pokémon game but few of them will be part of the future of the series. All in all, a decent entry but didn’t make the splash red and blue or diamond and pearl made at the beginning of a handheld generation.

The classic formula is still here. It's always fun to collect and battle. Lots of quality of life adjustments that make jumping into battling or shiny hunting easier than ever. Unfortunately the game also takes a step back with no national dex, less than mediocre story, and inconsistent graphical quality with animations, textures, and framerate in the wild area while online.

Enjoy the any other Pokémon games that aren't Pokémon Go? You like this. Yeah some of the graphics aren't as good as one would hope. And yes it is easier than others. First time playing a Pokémon game? It's a good one to start with.

Best pokemon game so far. Great adventures and can go online to play PvP against other people. Does not has all the pokemon since you have to buy the other game (sword and/or shield) but it is funny and enjoyable to play with friends.

Being someone who grew up on the first 2 generations of Pokemon, it is great to finally be able to play it on a T.V. The formula has not changes but if you have not played a Pokemon Game for a while then it will feel refreshing.
