Best pokemon in years!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't even finish sun and moon because it just wasnt fun or appealing. This one completely changes that. So many great updates and changes make this easily the best pokemon game in a while. For anyone complaining about not having every pokemon in the game, trust me. There are plenty of pokemon to catch and they come so quickly you dont even realize who isn't there.

Great game!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to this game, I had only ever played the original Pokémon Red/Blue on but felt the urge to get back into Pokémon after seeing all the great review for this game. I can say that those great reviews were 100% accurate. This game feels both new and familiar at the same time and really makes me nostalgia for the good ole days of playing Pokémon on my Game Boy.

A step in the right direction!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Pokemon entry feels different enough to warrant it's purchase while still feeling traditional to it's franchise. After the Let's Go entries this game has taken a much needed step in the right direction as it takes some ideas from the last entry and makes she much needed changes and expands the traditional concepts of what makes a Pokemon game!

Finally the Pokemon game I wanted
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is finally the game that I have been waiting for. Let's Go was not very good for me because you could not battle wild Pokemon to level your pokemon up. I do not like the Pokemon Go style of catching pokemon. This version takes it back to the Yellow version play style but with new twists. The wild area is pretty big and great for the Raids (they are tons of fun).

Pokemon Fan or not, you'll love this one!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's somewhat different from a traditional pokemon game but there's also a lot of new things that you can do. In the beginning I heard some controversial things about this new series but despite that, I gave it a try anyways and my friends and I who also have the game would agree that this series is definitely worth a try and if not soon to be your favorite game.

Wild area future?
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seeing how awesome the wild area is in Sword makes me hope this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to future Pokemon iterations. A fun game that gets a little slow at the end but still worth a playthrough for a Pokemon fan. Keep in mind this is the first entry without a national Pokedex which is a shame.

Fun game for Pokemon enthusiasts
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son got Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee last year & was excited for the new games coming out this year. They are a nice change from some of the more violent & intense games on the market now. User friendly, mildly challenging & overall more relaxing of a game to play. One we can play with him on the Nintendo Switch, which gets us spending some play time together!

It's a another fun main line pokemon game.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though lacking in some aspects compared to previous main line pokemon games; sword and shield still provides an awesome experience for new and old fans alike. It's the best looking pokemon game ever, but it does have frame rate issues in dock or in handheld mode. Less skill moves and pokemon is disappointing, but there's still plenty to love in sword and shield. The story is as enjoyable as previous games and the gameplay is not super challenging (so easy for veterans of the series). Online aren't prefect and does have connection and laggy issues at times.

Must have for the kids!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased 2 of these games so that the kids did not have to fight or share! One was digital and the other was Cartridge. The kids are able to play each other on their own systems without having to have the game pause if the other signs in. As for the game itself I just know it was the must have game for the holiday season and my kids couldn’t be happier!

It's Pokemon
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pokemon Sword and Shield build on the Pokemon formula, but are steps back in terms of Pokemon Games. While the Wild Area is fun an exciting, the biomes feel lacking in diversity. Most encounters should be overworld encounters. Compared to the Let's GO series that predated them, the immersion is lacking. Pokemon no longer follow you and riding on them is completely gone as well. Battles are fun and the characters are enjoyable, but it lacks some wonder and whimsy and is a bit of a step back for the franchise.
