Loves the design of the game and it is pretty fun. Isn't the hardest game to play, but it can still be challenging at times. I am a fan of the Pokemon franchise and although I don't think this is the best game, it is a good one.

This is a new kind of Pokemon series that we use to know. If you new to the series, buy it. This is not a huge problem and it's a still fun game. For the hardcore Pokemon player, you might need sometime to adjust it the new style. Oh, and this is the first Pokemon series that have a DLC ( Which is release already), so you don't need to buy the new one like Moon >> Ultra Moon.

This game is exactly like the older versions (red, blue, yellow, etc.) but with better graphics / gameplay! I opened it and have not stopped playing since I got it! You level up your Pokemon through BATTLES with wild Pokemon, trainers, or gym leaders.

Picked this up on sale and it has been very fun to play through and explore the wild areas in the game. Definitely not reinventing the pokemon gameplay wheel, but it is still entertaining and a good way to relax and pass the time.

If you've played any of the previous Pokemon, then you know what to expect here. The best part are all the quality of life improvements that make the game less of a grind and far more enjoyable.

I bought this game for my son. Now he's glued to the screen. Gameplay is awesome. He always tells me that he got a new pokemon and he always wants to find out who to beat next. My son is happy so I'm happy. I think your kids will also be happy.

I was initially skeptical about playing a Pokemon game without the original Pokedex, but the game is gorgeous and plays very, very well. The storyline is very simplified so older gamers might get a bit bored with the tutorials. Fun play, overall. =)

I haven't played pokemon games since Pokemon Silver/Gold. This was my first return and it was with a bang. By far the most entertaining and most open pokemon world to date. The story campaign was fun and challenging. Great game!

Loved loved loved! Thought I was going to hate it because the game started off a little slow to me but picked up instantly! Finally finished it and I still want more! 10/10

This game to me was fun, it's what you would expect from any other Pokémon game. The lack of the national dex and a chunk of previous gen Pokémon is disappointing, but to be fair I never imported my Pokémon from an older generation to a newer generation so this wasn't relevant to my experience. Overall the game was enjoyable, but definitely has it's flaws.

Do you like Pokemans? Do you need to catch them all? Well move into a new generation of Pokemans with, Pokemans Sword. Its way better than shield because the Pokemans on the cover looks cooler. Gotta catch em all!

The last Pokémon game I played was Red, and I had to stealthily steak my brother’s Game Boy to do so....while obviously this game is aimed at younger crowds, it’s so much fun! Careful, it’s easy to lose about 3 hours to this game without knowing

Boyfriend plays it everyday, says it's a great throw back to childhood and it's everything you wished the old games were like. You can combine creatures, discover along your travels, plenty to do and lots of fun.

It has definitely come along way from the games are used to play. The graphics are a lot better and the player interaction with the wild Pokémon is great. I would definitely recommend to someone Who’s looking for a new Adventure game.

Probably the best Pokémon game I have played (other than Mystery Dungeon, but that’s kind of a different category). There is lots to do after you beat the initial storyline too so it’s worth your money and stays interesting.

Bought this as a Christmas game for my daughter who absolutely loves this game. She absolutely loves it and has played many of the Pokémon games on other handhelds and this is one of her favorites! Definitely worth the money!

This game reminded a lot of Let’s go Pikachu and Let’s go Eevee! It was very similar, but it also added a few more mechanics and more of an open world type feel! The gym matches are something else! Definitely a must play for any Pokemon fans!

The most involved Pokemon game yet. The basic game mechanics classic to Pokemon will be familiar to fans while the new features are a welcome breath of fresh air, making an enjoyable experience for new and veteran players.
