The quality of life is so much improved from the original generations, and the Pokemon themselves are very cute for the most part. Loving this game

Pokémon sword is very entertaining and fun to play. I really wish that you can choose a Pokémon to follow you, sadly they did not include this in this game. Anyways, good game!

My son wanted this game for Christmas and he has truly enjoyed playing the game. He is especially happy that his pokeball controller that he got last year with Go Go Pickachu works with this game.

Very nice pokemon game maybe it's more the same but evertime and play I feel the same sensation with my first Pokemon Crystal game

Great game. My kid loves it. I was torn between this or pokemon shield. Can't speak for shield, but sword is fun and addicting and you always want to see what will happen next

I like many others grew up playing pokemon and have continued to support the franchise as an adult. This game adds a few updates like the wild area that have not been done before in Pokemon. These changes are nice but the truth is that this series has been glacial in its updates and feels and often looks like a game from 10 years ago. This series needs drastic changes to rival any premier modern RPG game from this generation but sadly seems doomed to continue to coast on its name value. I hope we eventually get to see a version of Pokemon that feels next gen. I would reccomend this for kids or huge fans of the franchise, if like me you have felt burned out by the last few of these you may want to consider skipping this one.

Dynamax was a pretty neat addition to the series. I understand everyone's frustration with the national dex controversy but the game is still very enjoyable. Would highly recommend to any fans.

A muat have for any kid or kid at heart who loves Pokemon. Great fun and a must have for Nintendo Switch players who have enjoyed othe Pokemon games.

Reliving childhood memories playing pokemon. Love the game, the story, the grind. It's a fun game that gets kind of repetitive but it's fun for an hour at a time now and then.

I was thinking this this would be to difficult fo a 11 years old boy but he seems to have a great time with it i do recommend for the collection cause there are many different game to chose from.

This is the Pokémon game I was asking for since I was 11-13 years old. This game is everyone Pokémon should be from a console version. I can’t wait for more games to release in the near future.

Very conflicted with this game. I’ve always been a fan of the Pokémon games and played up until about Pearl/Diamond and then again with Let’s Go - Pikachu (also conflicted). I have to say my favorites are Kanto/Johto, honestly, but this game intrigued me with how far it’s come in graphics, animations and play-style (some areas really good, other areas hilariously and unforgivably bad). Pros -Graphics (also com) look stunning, especially how detailed the town looks and the wild area -how the Pokémon are running around in the wild and interact with the player Cons -the trading system is the worst kind of trading system I have ever seen. It makes the 90’s era Pokémon games’ trading system look like a futuristic system -graphics in some area looks like Nintendo 64 graphics haha -overall game is way too easy and dumbed down. Miss how the old games were challenging and included puzzles, etx

I think the game itself is short even with expansion we purchased separately, but the game itself is great and fun for my kids.

Amazing game! Was definitely worth the purchase. I recommend having a friend get the opposite version as then you can trade pokémon that are specific only to each game version.

i bought this game for my brother and he loves it, the game is amazing and i’m glad i bought it. i would totally recommend this for people who love the whole pokémon franchise.

My kids love this pokemon game. it was simple enough to allow my 5 year old to beat the primary storyline. And nostalgic enough that my 15 year old was still engaged.

I've been playing since gen 1 and this is actually a really fantastic Pokemon game that gives crystal a run for it's money. It is slightly repetitive but the wealth of mechanics really liven it up.

If you like Pokemon you've got to play this game. The game is fun and brings me back to being a kid again. They've made some really fun upgrades to when I was 10 and playing on a GameBoy Color!

Our 16 ye old grandson was very excited to play the Pokemon Sword game over the holidays. He does not have Nintendo, so was very happy to build a Pokemon team while visiting.

I have been playing Pokémon games since their release in 96! this is an outstanding game! you actually feel like you are in the Pokémon world!
