The amount of Pokemon and length of the content makes for an exciting and fun game. The post game is definitely better than the originals. The graphics could be better but it's expected from the 3DS.

I miss having to actually fight gym leaders in order to get a badge and progress in the game. The alola trials were pretty boring and the storyline was ehh. I understand they were trying to implement some new features but man was this game super boring. Total miss.

Enjoy it now before the series devolves into a single button press that plays itself and the joy of building up and strengthening your Pokemon is no more.

Altered Version if Sun

The story isn’t as strong imo but the game is a lot more challenging and has some cool new additions like surfing, ultra worm hole shiny hunting, and more.

Pokémon Ultra Sun - Nintendo 3DS

The other "remakes" have changed things up more than this one did. It's still fun because the original Sun / Moon were really smart reconceptions of the Pokemon gameplay, but it's a little hard to justify buying this if you aren't a huge fan of the series.
