Who cares about the performance issues? Some stuttering graphics or weird backgrounds here and there arent enough to turn away REAL fans. Buy the game and play it - its a load of fun and there are lots of new exciting pokemon. Compared to the old gameboy games we grew up playing - this game feels like a whole new adventure. It will surely have a performance patch released in the coming days, as the company is well aware there are glitches. But its NOT game breaking. Just play the game and enjoy it. Pokemon isnt about graphics. Its about CATCHING EM ALL!!

To say the obvious it has its framerate and bug issuss. The game itself is a lot of fun. I would say if it ran smootlhy it would be the best pokemon gane out there in my opinion, and ive been playing pokemon games since the late 90s on my gameboy color. This game brings absolute joy to my heart and makes me feel like that 90s kid again.

This is just an atrocious game! Poorly done, poorly implemented. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Hands down my favorite Pokemon game of all time. Love the open world, the different story lines, it’s so different from the traditional games and I’m having a blast!

It definitely needs improvement but its not the worst. As someone who has played Pokémon since it was first released on Gameboy I really can't complain much. Yes the graphics definitely could be better. The younger generation of Pokémon players will sit here and complain all day but I mean nothing is ever perfect.

I’ve played Pokémon in my childhood. This game right here is amazing, almost at 200 hours of gameplay on here and I don’t plan on stopping as the DLC is dropping on September 13!

this is my very first pokemon game, and I absolutely love it. The open world is fun, and I'm addicted to catching pokemon and leveling them up. This game has mixed reviews due to glitches the first day it came out, however nintendo released an update to fix those glitches. I bought this game after the update, and I haven't had any issues at all. I highly recommend this game!

Excellent game! I love I can let my Pokémon loose to battle with out having to go into traditional battle mode. The new classes are fun too! Never thought I'd like to go to the academy in a game lol

Overall great game and brought me back to my childhood (last version played was Crystal with Suicune!) only a few glitches and delays but manageable

I am a huge Pokémon fan. I have already spent countless hours in Gen 9. It is definitely glitchy, but in a Skyrim kind of way haha

I am enjoying the game so far. By there are random glitches that make the game completely enjoyable.

Basically feels like no name developer came in and made a Pokemon game.It looks and runs very poorly, the open world is bland and boring. I don't like trying to just get around on my bike while everyone who is walking around me looks like they're having a seizure due to how bad the frame rate and animations are. I do feel like there are awesome quality of life changes, but then they fell waaaay back on stuff like customization. I've always wanted something like "Skyrim meets Pokemon" and given this is Game Freak/Nintendo, I knew I'd probably never see that, but was still hopeful in their first true open world environment. I wish people weren't so obsessed with playing the new thing and let Nintendo suffer on this one as it's not worth the same AAA money I spend elsewhere and its not getting away with anything from me just because its on Switch and is Pokemon.

Picked up for my nephew, he LOVES the game. I remember when I played the games for the gameboy and the DS. These is the new generation of Pokémon.

Performance issues for sure, but breath of fresh air for this stagnant series. Don't let DunkeyFans try to tarnish this game like Sonic.

Great game, really entertaining and fun. Like all the pokemon games.
