There are real issues with performance but somehow despite that it's the best time I've had with a Pokemon game in generations

One of the best Pokémon games in a long time, but unfortunately as of current suffers from bugs and performance issues.

Great game i bought both versions, kind of glictchy but that’s to be expected with a cartrage game that has online and a big world

So I went into this purchase expecting a sloppy, underperforming, buggy mess. Now, while there's some truth to that, I actually really enjoy this game. There's a lot here and a ton of new mechanics at play. While yes there are some performance issues, it's not impossible to overlook, and appreciate the experience. There's a lot here to enjoy and it seems Gamefreak are heading in a good direction. Perhaps a few more months in the oven was needed with this though.

Definitely one of the better Pokémon games! May not run the best, but definitely the most fun I've had playing Pokémon.

Fun game, but better with friends. Its a pokemon game and when paired with the Pokemon Home free app in the Nintendo Store you can move your Pokemon from previous titles such as brilliant diamond and shining pearl. As well as Pokemon go

Pokemon isnthe largest waste of a goldmine to ever exist. Nintendo squandered the greatest potential to ever exist all in the name of greed. Greed which has cost them untold amounts of wealth. Pokemon mmo rpg on every platform with a monthly subscription of 5usd. Full world multi starter points insane battle systems. No gimic bs just good old pokemon.

People stating that the game is unplayable have probably never played an early access game in their life. It’s rough around the edges for sure. It’s not what I was expecting from Gamefreak, and is probably one of the worst launches I can think of them having. But it plays and is quite enjoyable. Feels like there’s a lot to do and is a nice blend of arceus and the traditional game style. Would recommend if given 1-2 weeks for a patch. Still a better launch than MW2 imo.

I don't understand what others are talking about, I'm really loving this game. I love the new Pokémon I've been finding too.

Needed to be pushed back another 6 months. Performance issue and glitches galore but so man quality of life Improvements and the best story I’ve seen in a Pokémon game balance it out. The most fun I’ve had in a Pokémon game in a long time. Great game, maybe wait till it gets updates to fix the issues.

Yes yes yes. I love this game. Open map and good story line. Easy to follow, even for first time pokemon gamers.

Great game! There are definitely some bugs but the open world aspect reallt overshadows all of these issues.

TL;DR version: Handheld mode probably has bad performance, Games still fun even with its minor to medium performance drops, Make sure you have internet and get version 1.0.1. best price I’d recomend is 49.99 or below if you can. Full Version: I had fun with the game but if choppy framerate and sometimes flashing or popping in textures bother you, I’d be unable to recommend. They added some nice quality of life features like being able to rename pokemon at any time, forget or relearn pokemon moves anywhere. Also the picnic system makes pokemon eggs so much faster to obtain than older games. Some of the new pokemon look cute or cool. The lack choice when it comes to youe characters shirt or pants feels limiting, I get that we’re students in academy and there’s a dress code but come on man. I haven’t played in handheld mode, On an OLED or Lite model but if you plan to play in those modes you might wanna wait for the first dlc or a patch, The handheld modes apparently have some pretty bad performance also you’ll want to have internet for the “Day One Patch” which puts the version number at 1.0.1 which i believe most people who got tons of bugs might be using jailbroken switches that need to be kept offline. Otherwise in the 1.0.1 version I’ve yet to experience any game breaking bugs almost 100 hours in.

My son likes the game Great pc, great purchase and place to shop. Customer service was amazing, easiest purchase I've been able to make. So happy with the outcome of the purchase. Went in and out and found what I needed to get. Couldn't have been any better.

If you live Pokemon and playing on switch just get it.

Runs like doodoo but the Pokemon are good, the world is good, and the story is decent.
