Was really excited to try out this watch, was disappointed though by the calorie tracking. I ran 4 miles and did an intense 45 minute resistance training and it informed me I only burned 181 calories. Not that I think the machines at the gym are always accurate but this seems way off by comparison.

Watch is OK when used with H7, app is terrible

I have been using the A300 for roughly 2 weeks working out at home. Together with the H7 I find it useful, otherwise just the watch alone would effectively be useless to me. Where I am really disappointed is with the phone app and the online tool. There are so many bugs or basic features missing that it is easier to track my stats in a spreadsheet.

    Bi-polar

I wanted to upgrade from my polar ft4, read tons of reviews and finally settled on the polar a300. Sadly the watch never ever worked properly. It didn't track my activity. I would be in middle of a marathon prep and it would alert me saying i'd been inactive for too long and it was time to move. ....nevermind i was actually running uphill......this watch was bi-polar and i couldn't get rid of it quick enough.
